How to use semicolon character as text in Workfront Fusion PDF Generation

Hello,

 

I'm trying to use a semicolon as part of the text value in my merge field for an Adobe PDF generation. However when you type in a semicolon, it thinks it is the separator character for a function value in Fusion. I can't find a way to escape the semicolon so I can output it as actual text. Any ideas?

This should decode a semicolon inside of a function:
