How to allow workers to view and edit task condition under task details.

I have tried setting up the custom template and checked off the box to include task condition under the task details but it does not appear to show up. Any suggestions how to make this easy for workers to update? I do have it showing up as an edit that can be made under a new update but would like to see it in the task details as well.
