How are Allocation Dates determined for Planned Revenue (Project (Financial Data) report)

I've seen this discussion: https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/workfront-questions/project-finances-allocation-dat...

but it doesn't quite tell me how those dates are determined.

 

We have a Project (Financial Data) report where the planned completion date of the project is in March 2026, but the report is showing allocation dates stretching out through August 2026.

@doug_den_hoed__atappstore Saved the day - suggested recalculating timeline and financials.

That worked.

The timeline hadn't been changed since late September so that didn't occur to us.
