Hours shown in left nav of project don't reflect all hours logged to the project

Question

A manager was trying to estimate his team’s time for an upcoming project by looking back at a previous project but his team’s time was not showing in when he click Hours in the left nav of the project. I was able to see in my monthly hours report for the month his team’s tasks took place that his team had actually logged time to the project. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t show within the project.

Also check whether the team logged time to issues - I think issue time is not included in project time (or am I misremembering?)

Check out his access level settings. Users don’t see hours from everyone on default, look under the Admin access settings in an access level for who can see what kind of hours if you have that enabled.
