Hiding share button

Question

Can we hide or disable the share button that is displayed for projects, tasks and other object types ??, have a cliend requirement for the end users to be not be able to see the share button for projects tasks issues documents overall it should not be visible / accessible for the end users, please let me know if there is any way that can be done, thanks

Unfortunately, this isn't editable for system administrators to control in the layout. Even if the users don't have permission to share it still shows up. The best you can do is to ensure they don't have permission to share through their access levels.

I think this is something that would be great to submit as an "Idea". I searched and didn't see anything out there already. Let me know if you submit and I'll upvote and share it.

Adobe thinks they know better than you, who should be able to share a project.

I've complained about this before to deaf ears. This goes back to the topic of system governance and how Adobe is eroding the ability of companies to govern their own instances.
