Frozen Calculated Custom Field

Does anyone have a workaround or a fix for this issue: One of our teams wants to add a calculated custom field on all their projects. The field would be Cycle Time and the calculation is the duration of the project from planned start date to $$TODAY and it subtracts any On Hold time. The problem is that the calculation only updates whenever someone update the custom form or edits the project details. If we don't make any updates to the project for a day or so, the calc will stay frozen since the last update thus showing incorrect information. Is there any way to automate the refresh of calculated custom fields? Or any ideas to easily refresh that calc on a bunch of projects on a routine basis? Hi Denver, This is a manual process for me as well to refresh calculations. I setup a scoring system to weigh priorities from a product management point of view of what items to work on first vs. last which includes items like aging. The days don't auto updated and every few days I have to do a mass edit of all the requests, select the custom form but don't change info, and then hit Save to get it to refresh the points / positions of items (the ones that age longer move up the list). Without having to get a 3rd party solution I haven't found a solution yet. Tim Greek IEHP
