Dynamic Template Behavior in Project Creation

Hello,

Is it possible to create dynamic templates that can be used when creating a project from either a template or a request?

For example:


When creating a new project and selecting a template, can related sub-templates be displayed under the main template for selection?

If that is not possible, is there an alternative approach where, after selecting a template, certain fields on the project creation page can be used to dynamically adjust values—such as applying a different template configuration or modifying custom fields based on those inputs?

    Hi, you cannot create dynamic templates - they are static and pre-defined. You can use the same naming convention for templates to make it easier to find them. What I usually do for clients is once a project has been created from e.g. template and values have been put on a custom form, based on XYZ as a trigger, I add tasks to a project or change information but all of this with Fusion. 😀

    How do I use Fusion? I’m also using it, but I can’t set dynamic templates—I can only add tasks or update values through Fusion.

    Thanks for the information. Are you saying that dynamic templates cannot be created using Fusion as well? only add Tasks or update values.

    Are you trying to create a “dynamic project” based on multiple templates or are you editing a template? What I understood is that you need a project that can have different tasks based on XYZ factors - is that correct?
