Does Workfront project condition consider projects not in current status?

One of our groups wants to use the idea or planning project status without those projects being considered in the project condition. I can’t find documentation saying if these two statuses are included in this; does anyone have documentation or know the answer?

Here is an excerpt: Projects that are in any of the following statuses are always marked as On Target, no matter what the dates of the tasks and their progress are:

  • Idea
  • Requested
  • Approved
  • Rejected

All four states below the business case of a project.

 

If you’re in the state “Planning” and something triggers the recalculation of the timeline, the condition will change.
