Display typeahead value as link

Hi all, 

Our request queue has a custom form that uses a typeahead project field to specify a "related" project. 

This field continues to display as a dropdown when converted to a project, but we want to display it as a link so users can click it to be taken to that project rather than modifying the value.

Is this possible? Thank you!
