Display a symbol when there's an Update

On the main Task page of a Project, I can clearly see how many Documents or Issues are associated with the Project. I'd like a similar visual cue for the Updates link. Can we add a "plus sign" in parentheses (+), or maybe bold the word "Updates", when a new Update has been added?
