DELETE or EDIT EXPENSE default TYPES

The default expense types are not ones that all teams use and can be confusing when you are not able to hide delete or edit them. Not all teams use Advertising, Consulting, General, Materials, and Travel or may call them other items.

These fields should be ones that at minimum can be hidden.

To echo what Jack Hilley said, very fine if they stay in the system---I don't need to delete them. But if we could hide them from users, that would be perfect.


Is just hiding them (rather than editing or deleting them) as heavy of a lift? Would really love to see this back on the road map, even if it were a more limited version of the original idea.

This is still a very confusing problem. Is there any explanation as to why they set it this way? Is there a functionality we aren't considering that requires these defaults and if so, what's the point of allowing custom options?
