Default Settings

Hello, I am trying to see if we can revise some defaults. For example, an employee of mine is using Workfront for pretty simple purposes. This being said she wants all of her tasks to default to Fixed Dates when she adds more tasks. Is this a setting, or something that just happens after she changes it a few times? Thanks! Hi Tim, There's no overall 'default to this task constraint for User X' setting that I'm aware of, but here are two options I've taught our users: 1. If she 'Duplicates' a task that already exists, and has the 'Fixed Date' constraint, then the new task will also inherit that constraint. This is a solution most applicable if the task being added has minimal information required to be input each time. 2. If she has repetitive but complicated tasks, you could set-up simple templates for her that have everything pre-configured and she could attached the template to the project, instead of directly adding the task each time. This solution is more optimal if you have tasks with complex instructions/custom forms attached each time. You could set the security on the template so only she could see it, so it didn't accidentally get picked up by other individuals. Hope one of these is helpful, Katherine Katherine Stibley
