Cross Instance Sharing

We are a multi national company running (2) separate instances of Workfront. We have one in the NASA region, and one in the EMEA region. We would like the ability to share projects across instances without having to work through a 3rd party Workfront Partner to make the connection for us. We have investigate the 3rd party integration and it is expensive and has a yearly fee. I had the opportunity to speak to Alex Shootman about this in January, and hope that this will get some serious consideration.

    Yes, we are in need as well. I believe there is cap when 'enterprise' integration is required, but you have companies in the 'in-between' state that have several instances.

    This makes perfect sense. We also operate across multiple regions. The rpoduct is a great one (no doubt about that) though there is definitely room for growth for multinationals, particularly around multi currency salary costs and project sharing as Dave suggests.

    We have multiple instances and past efforts to merge them have not been successful because of different business functions that the instances meet. We do, however, have an important need to share data, especially for corporate-level projects or initiatives. Bringing in a 3rd-party tool is problematic for many reasons, so this is important to us and would save a lot of work. We do quite a bit of manual coordination and combination that is frustrating for many users.

    Would like to be able to share requests with a vendor that has Workfront and allow them to assign out the work and then close out the ticket once complete.
