Can doc approvals notification emails be turned off?

In the new approvals, I get emailed about everything - every approved/changes/needs work, when it is final decision, etc.  I can see all that in my notifications in WF and it is burying important emails.

I can’t seem to find a place to turn it off - any one happen to know?

    As far as I know (as of Feb 2026) there isn’t a way to unsubscribe to this, and they are not listed as one of the email notifications that you can switch off. I mentioned it to the product team last year while doing user experience testing in frame.io but that’s as far as I went.

     

    I recommend you set up an outlook rule to filter them out of your inbox (assuming you’re in outlook but if not, just setup a mailbox rule in the app you’re using).

      I tried this first. I think because these are new to the new approvals and not in that setting. 🤷
