Calendars no longer available to view on dashboards without clicking link

Hi there,

I was digging through the look-and-feel announcements today and saw that calendars will no longer display in dashboards and are going to link to the calendar instead (as of 10/17 release). Is there truly no option to have the calendar DISPLAY in the dashboards any longer? This is a very heavily used feature through our instance. I even use this myself frequently throughout the day. We have been able to make so many visualizations and one-stop sources for work and data by embedding a calendar view into dashboards. This is going to impact our teams negatively by slowing down work and disabling quick views for are more visual workers (especially the Creative teams).

I saw this here: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront/using/product-announcements/product-releases/release-24-q4/24-q4-look-and-feel-updates

Thank you!

I think your only option would be to add it as an external page.

Hi Skye! Thanks for the response. Good call. 🙂 I know from testing that it is less optimal because the entire normal Workfront UI and our full list of calendars is at the top, so we have to scroll past all of that to get to where we need, but that is definitely something I'll use as a workaround if that is all we have.

life is full of compromises, and one compromise you can make is to click on the calendar sharing and set it to public in order to get a public link. (remember to click save)

Setting the public link in your external page will display a calendar without the full UI. Remember, if your users share this public link with anyone outside the company, the outsider can also see the calendar.
