Best Practices for Using Basic Proof versus Automated Proof

We are currently using automated proofs for a project.  There are approximately 60 proofs in this project.  It is set up in 2 stages (Stakeholder review-).  Stage 2 goes to our Agency for edits.  Wondering if a Basic Proof workflow would make more sense.

What are best practices for using Basic Proof and using Automated Proof

Automated proof workflows are ideal for standarized process. Basic workflows are ideal for simple workflows or when you need more control over the variables. My organization has so many variables with proofing, especially around the users who should be on the proof, that we lean toward basic.
