Barcode reader functionality in Proofs?

Hi friends! I know there is a lot in store for Proofs - anyone know if barcode/QR code reader functionality is in the mix for the future or if there's a plugin that works with WF  to be able to 'scan/QA' barcodes/QR codes? Some other proofing tools have this.
