Auto-Assigning Issues on Related Tasks

Hi folks, Is it possible to auto-assign issues attached to tasks? I want the assignee of issues to automatically populate the value from the assignee of its related task. Thanks. Nick Nick Valeriote Trendline Interactive

it's only possible through use of request queues. Have you looked in that direction yet? -skye

Thanks for the idea Skye. I took a quick look and not sure if that will accomplish this. Could be that I'm new to Workfront, and I'm not fully comprehending request queues yet. I'll read on. Cheers. Nick Valeriote Trendline Interactive

Well, the key thing to note about request queues is whether you are using them from a single-project standpoint (I only want this to be used inside of this project [and hence inside of the tasks in the project]) or whether you are using them globally (available outside the project). You are doing the former, so make sure you don't check the "publish as a help request queue" checkbox. -skye
