Approval steps should

If the status of a project equates with open and an approval step has been triggered, the approval will show in a users My Approvals tab. IF the status of that same project changes to a status that does not equate with open, unfortunately the approval will STILL remain on the user's MY Approvals tab.

Approval steps should pull back if the status of a project changes to a status that does NOT equate with open because review is no longer needed.
