Allow unlimited amount of custom quarters

Currently in Setup -> Project Preferences -> Projects -> Custom Quarters, I am only able to specify 8 quarters. I would like the amount of quarters to be unlimited. Our instance has over 5 years of data, and if we do any trend reporting further back than 2 years, it shows "no value" for the quarter which is undesirable. We do have a custom calculated field for quarter, but it isn't perfect.

    Thanks for the update @LilitM,

     

    For those who need custom quarters, I invite you to consider a "Fiscal YYYYQQ" calculated parameter (e.g. at the Project Level, or the Task Level, or the Issue Level, or the Expense Level, etc. whether on Planned or Projected, Start or End..., with the notable exception of Hours, which don't support custom data...yet...) that translates the date into the appropriate custom quarter using YYYYQQ format, so that you can then filter/view/group/report/chart on those values (e.g. between 2019Q3 and 2024Q3 for a 5 year filter such as @amanda6703 described).
