Allow PMs to turn off notifications at the project level

We like the overall notification capabilities, but would like to be able to turn them off for any given project. This would be especially helpful as the PM is constructing the project plan and drafting resource assignments. Currently, users get spammed with notifications which may not yet make sense.

I100% agree with this suggestion!

In my environment, each IS Team has a "Maintenance / Operational project" where we annually plan out operational work. This provides us better Resource Allocation and a better view of a staff member's work load.

Each task may have 6 or more assignees and this is where the problem comes in with emails & in-app notifications. ex: Building or Patching servers. Every time a person makes an update - an alert goes out. With this project we don't need these & if we turn off, then it impacts other projects.

The result: I have users that begin to ignore all Workfront emails and alerts.

If we had the ability to turn of notifications at the project level, then staff would have more confidence & reliability in the notifications.

This would be great --- it would also be ideal that this change was able to be tracked in the updates so that it was easy to identify who turned off the notifications and when.

Yes, I agree that we need the tracking on this (and many other items).

Agree - this would be very useful.
