Adding Custom Email Reminder Notifications to Issues at a Template Level

It would be great to be able to tie an email reminder notification to issues/requests at a template level. Something I would imagine is setting up email reminders to be sent to the requester/assignee a few days before the request is due. It can be done at a task level, but not an issue level.

+1! Would be great to have the set for a request queue to help enforce SLAs and accountability.

I am very surprised this functionality is not available to ensure requestees respond to requesters within their SLA. Without this functionality admins are limited to subscribed report of issues outside of SLA which do not scale (especially since they are still sent if a team meets SLAs).

Just wanted to share our use case for this.

We have a project set up as a request queue. All requests for our India team will be submitted through this queue. When the request is closed, we want to send an email with a request for the submitter to complete a survey about their experience.
