Ability to use rich text format fields in Calculated fields

We have an existing implementation where teams use a Paragraph Text field to document task/ project updates. A calculated field then captures the date the paragraph text field was last updated. We hoped to improve our users experience by giving them the RTF field in place of the existing paragraph field, however, calculated fields can't be built using RTF fields. We'd like this functionality added along with the ability to see the rich text formatting in reports.

    Hello,

     

    2 years later it is still the same. To my disappointment, I tried doing a calculated column in a report too, by just trying to concat information from 1 paragraph text field and 1 RTF. It does not fetch info from RTF in a calculated column as well. We need this to be enabled for our use case too.

    Our organization would really benefit from this update! We want the flexibility that rich text fields provide, but not being able to use these fields on calculated fields is a major issue.
