Ability to change the routing/"Path" of a submitted request

Would love to have the ability to change the routing/"Path" (located in Issue Details tab / Overview Sub-tab) of a submitted request? It happens when the Requestor incorrectly selects it from the get-go so it does not appear in the correct team(s) queue.

Since the Queue Topic can be edited, it would be nice if it would automatically change the Path associated or simply have the ability to change it manually.

Thanks in advance!

Chiming in to vocalize our support for this idea.  We would also agree that the ideal state would be automatically updating the path when the queue topic is changed.

This will be much helpful if we could have a drop-down option to move the request to different queue.

People keep doing this manually consistently doing double work after making a mistake and have no option than deleted and start all over.

We are encountering the same issue. It is frustrating when requesters select the incorrect type and need to resubmit.

@jon_chen Is this idea old enough that you would recommend someone resubmit the idea? I'd certainly upvote it.

Hey @lyndsy-denk, that's correct. Given this idea's publish date was over 2 years ago, it will need to be merged with a more recent idea to be considered for product review. If you can find a more recent idea from 2023 onwards, please share it with me so that I can merge the existing votes together! Thanks for surfacing this.

So, I've actually done this, but with some caveats. If you happen to have Fusion, you can actually do this via that solution using its Workfront Module API, but there's a catch—while the actual stored value of the path changes, for some odd reason, the display value of the path will not be updated on the details page of an issue.
