Adobe Workfront

 Created a task report, filtering and grouping by Home Team ID. However, the groupings are showing as a random string of numbers and letters. Any way to pull in the actual Home Team ID so we know which drop down is which?

For email intake to a request queue:If there is formatting in the body of the email it's being lost when it loads to Workfront. I tested bold, italic and underline and the text all loaded as regular text. Is this the expected behaviour as the body of the email becomes the description which doesn't allow formatted text?  Is there any way around this?

I have a task report that I'm pulling in hours of a specific hour type.  I can get them as a list and it works correctly - but I would also like this same information to be shown as a total rather than in a list.  Can someone assist with the text mode for this calculation?displayname=Template Count listdelimiter=<br/> listmethod=nested(hours).lists type=iterate valueexpression=if({hourType}.{name}="Template Count",{hours}) valueformat=HTML  

Has anyone noticed that Workfront no longer saves a comment you've started? For example, if you're typing a comment and navigate to another link within the project, the text doesn't remain in the commend field like it used to.

Hello, In the screen shot below I am parsing json to separate values from a typehead field. When trying to put the @ symbol in front of the username it does not tag the user in Workfront updates section but simply an @ symbol which does not tag the user in the regular highlighted blue format. Is there a way to @ the user correctly in the updates section because the result is not rendering and tagging the person in my update. Please refer to second screen shot of how it is appearing. I appreciate all the help in advance

We have in-project requests for extra resource to be added to the project. Once approved, the new task template is added. The task template has a folder structure attached to it which matched all the other tasks in the workflow. However, when adding the new template task, it seems to duplicate the folder structure at project level aswell.Is there a way to not have the folders duplicated at project level and why does it so this?

Has anyone successfully created a scenario that attaches multiple docs to one email?  I have been working on a scenario to be able to attach multiple files from one folder to an email but am running into a roadblock. I have been experimenting with the iterator, aggregator and variable modules. When I test, the email will only attach one document but I can see in the aggregator that it did create 1 bundle with all files found in the folder. I am not sure if I am missing something in my setup with the email attachment setup. Also, I am new to using the iterator, aggregator and variables so maybe I am not setting up something correctly. For context, I need to be able to attach docs to the email as we have users on our email distro that are not in Workfront and we do not need them to be. Thank you for any help in advance.  Current scenario set up:  Aggregator result: Email Result: only will bring in 1 file as an input instead of multiple fi

Hello, I have calculated fields in my request form to capture the name of the person who put in the request and their home team. When this form was setup in implementation, we put a "Requestor Team Override" field that is visible to admins only, in the event we need to update the requestor team. I would like to also add a "Requestor Override" be able to also override the Original Requestor name, but I'm not quite sure what the code would look like to do that. Here is the calculation for the Requestor Team field:IF(ISBLANK({DE:Requestor Team Override:name}),IF(ISBLANK({convertedOpTaskOriginator}),{owner}.{homeTeam}.{name},{convertedOpTaskOriginator}.{homeTeam}.{name}),{DE:Requestor Team Override:name}) Calculation for the Requestor Team Override is a Typeahead field, with reference object type set to "Team" The calculation for the "Original Requestor" field is:{convertedOpTaskOriginator}.{name} Any ideas on how to create an admin only field that overrides this "

Hi,  We are nearing our storage limit in Workfront and I've been spending time clearing out documents and various other bits to reduce the risk of actually hitting the limit and then being unable to upload new docs. Ideally we don't want to get to the point of needing to pay for additional storage. We use AEM Assets linked to Workfront so this should be used for storing nearly everything (except for Proofs which we do through Workfront), but users haven't been great at this in the past so we are working through moving files saved in Workfront to AEM to help free up some space. I wondered if anyone with experience in this area might have any tips that could help? Hi all, I tried searching for an answer and have done extensive testing, but have not yet arrived at a solution. Is there a way in the Microsoft 365 calendar module to set the parameter so when an event is created, it creates an all day event in your home calendar? I have been exploring the configuration/parameters in the module but have not seen a way to do this. Thank you for your help, Nick

  Hi folks,   While updating them mechanics of our Executive Status Report solution, I hit the age-old question of whether the computer (i.e. Workfront) or the human (i.e. the PM) should decide what to report as the official project condition, with -- for context -- condition in this case referring generically to "How is it going?" (e.g. Green / Yellow / Red). Thinking that the situation could vary across organizations (or even between departments, or even among department projects, or even over time), I decided to allow for both, but am also interested to hear whether there's a clear majority these days.   In your organization, who sets the official project condition: Workfront (automatically), or the PM (manually)?   Regards, Doug   cc: note to self @doug_den_hoed__atappstore    [edited to simplify]  

Wondering if anyone else has seen this and has a workaround. I have a fusion scenario set to run whenever a new row is added to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. The scenario runs fine, however I noticed that it wasn't seeing new rows (form submissions) in a timely manner. I realized that the fusion scenario is working as expected, but unless I have the spreadsheet open and active (attached to a MS form) it isn't populating (or doesn't seem to). Does anyone else know of a trick to keep the spreadsheet 'active' without having it open? Between trying to keep it open and our company security policies forcing me to log in after a certain amount of time this isn't an ideal way to keep my scenario running.

Is it possible to hide Workfront Project/Task Updates Tab for certain set of Users

Hi All,Was there a change to how to pull in Workload Balancer views into dashboards or am I just doing something wrong? Previously, I would go to the WLB, set up any filters I wanted (and share them), and then hit the "shareable link" icon to get a link that I could paste into a dashboard. The dashboard displayed a pared down version of the WLB, without an icon for filters, no nav links across the top, etc. (see Fig 1 "normal") but now when I do the same thing I get a lot of clutter (see Fig 2 "current"). Am I doing something wrong or was there a process change?  Thank you in advance.

Is there anyway to include a 'documents' section to a task custom form? ie so the person completing the form can upload a document in the form rather than using the task's document section. 

Hello all, I've posed this question to Adobe Support, but their solution isn't quite working. So I thought I'd try all you brilliant people in the community! I have a team that is trying to solve a resource allocation issue via reporting, as manually checking workload balancer every hour is not sustainable. They would like a report that will populate any users who have hours on a given day exceeding 7 hours. Note, this is not actual hours, as this team is not tracking time. They want to see who is over-allocated on planned hours on any given day (can be within a timeframe of $$TODAY to $$TODAY+8w, as an example). I've found solutions ranging from an Hours report, to an Assignment report, to a Budgeted Hours report (AI gave me that last one, which I'm raising an eyebrow at). I believe I need an Assignment report, but having trouble narrowing the groupings down to the day / planned hours for a user.  Any thoughts? 

Resourcing has been a huge focus with our team. We have 2 internal teams that have odd schedules as they work some weekends out in the field for projects. The system is setup for 40 hours, 5 days, and 8 hour days. I've tried creating a 2nd schedule to apply to specific projects for cases like this but it's not working the way I hoped.  Does anyone have any recommendations on setting up the Workload Balancer to show 7 day availability but with a 40 hour work week limit?I think this has been the biggest struggle for us in trying to capture availability and scheduling within the system.  Thank you!

My company is exploring options for sharing information from Snowflake to Workfront, likely through Fusion. Hi,Good day,searching for your brilliant ideas regarding my project,scenario goes like this, 1 email to case: If new message received by email it automatically creates an issue to WF (scenario working)2 reply to email then close the case: if the assignee replied to the email that the issue is resolved, it will auto close the issue.  here is my testing scenario. I dont know how to connect the WF module (record update) to WF module (create a record.)Maybe you have another way out. Thanks,
