Adobe Target

I'm starting to get into using Target with Web SDK and have encountered a problem with QA.My experiment is like this:There is a funnel of pages that users need to go through: A > B > CIf a user reloads page B, he gets sent back to page A. I.e. state is not retained at the current page. Likewise, if the user reloads page C, he gets sent back to page A.I am experimenting on page B. I can apply my modifications there successfully in VEC.Previously, with at.js, when I wanted to QA page B, I could append Target's QA parameters to page A's URL. Then when I arrived at page B, the expected modifications would be applied, i,e.Get the QA link for page B from Target.Open page A, appending the QA parameters "at_preview_token", "at_preview_index", and "at_preview_listed_activities_only" to page A's URL.Continue to page B.Expected result: Page B's modifications get applied.Actual result: Page B's modifications get applied.But I've found that this doesn't work with Web SDK, i.e.Get the QA

Hi there,  We are trying to load a test variant to the page but it's not displaying. Currently getting the error below in the console, the assets seem to be 404'ing out.  Wondering if anyone has had experience with this same issue?  "DevTools failed to load source map: Could not load content for https://PAGE/etc/designs/zg/PAGE-com-rebrand/desktop/js.asset.js/core/math.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE" Thanks in advance for the help! 

When I am setting the Targeting for Automated Personalization (AP), there used to be an option to select an optimization algorithm (this is about 2 years ago). The training videos from Adobe show this option clearly (see screengrab below of a similar video):  However, I am unable to see this option in Targeting section of AP anymore. Would anyone know whether Adobe removed this option? I did not find anything in the release notes. Or is there something in the settings that I need to fix. Below is the screengrab of what I see today (there is no option to select an algorithm) 

I have a sign up overlay on my site that appears after 5 seconds of the user being on the site.  I am trying to test a different CTA and I am having issues.  It is working fine in the composer, but the changes are not appearing in the QA links.  Is this something that would require custom code? This is the error I am seeing "Action could not be applied due to missing or invalid mbox name" 

Hi,  Having issues where we are seeing discrepancies in our Adobe Target A/B campaign that has been running for a few weeks. It went live at 100% of all users at a 50/50 split using the default all visitors audience. However our reporting in both Target and Analytics has been telling a different story and we have been seeing a lot more unique users in Experience A then Experience B. In summary this is an A/B test with no re-directs just injecting content in our B Experience. We originally saw the below over the course of the first week: We decided to stop the experience then duplicate it. However after a few weeks later we are still accounting the same issue although its started to level out, please see analytics results below: Does anyone know what could be the cause / reason behind this?As I would expect it to be closer than 42/58 Split.

Hello,I'm curious why the 'Rearrange content' functionality using the VEC does not always work? I'm able to select the component, begin to drag the component to a different location on the page, page highlights in yellow where I can drop component, but when I try to release my mouse and drop the component into the new location, it does not release.  I've tried a number of times with various components and I can't get the component to release and drop into the new location.Is there a keyboard shortcut I need to do or enabled by accident? Are there restrictions as to where I can move the componnet to? I thought this was typically identified by the yellow highlighted box, if the location doesn't highlight then I can't drop it there. I've used this feature before and its very powerful and easy so not sure why it doesn't always work. Please advise asap.Thanks,

I want to trigger a Target Activity after a user action on the page out of the page load. How is this possible? I can control the action with a directCall but how can it be triggered the activity from Adobe Target?

Hi All, What to understand the use of adobe.target.getOffers(), adobe.target.applyOffers(), adobe.target.trackEvent() and adobe.target.triggerView(). What is the difference between these calls. I gone through the documents provided by adobe but didnt how to use it based on our requirement.  Can someone give some usecase/scenarios where we can apply those calls ? Thanks in Advance Cheers 🙂

HiI have got two sites on same domain (site AA and site BB), implemented with Target.For specific needs, each site have its own AT_properties (different clienCode, different imsOrgId...).I created a profile script that capture the case a user visited specific group pages on AA.if (page.url.indexOf('urlToMatch') > -1) {return true;}Then would use this audience (hasVisitedPagesAA) to play an Experience Targeting (XT) Activity on site BB.Unfortunately, it does not work.My use case is it really possible to implement ?If yes, how to make it work ?

Hi, We are uploading data into customer attributes. We have then created a profile script to reference the attribute. Is it possible to retrieve the value of the profile script within the VEC > custom code builder? Or alternatively, is there a way to retrieve the customer attribute value within the VEC > custom code builder?  I know you can render the value like this:  ${user.endpoint.lastPurchasedEntity} but we would like to use the value within our custom code to determine what to display to the user. E.g if  ${user.endpoint.lastPurchasedEntity} = x then do y. Any ideas?

Hello Everyone, I'm new to using Adobe Target and wondering if there is a way to trigger the activation of an A/B test only after a user on the site has clicked on an on-page element. The element in question is a main menu dropdown, and clicking the element reveals the dropdown menu below. The A/B test makes changes to the content of the dropdown, so we don't want the data collected from that test to include anybody who has not yet clicked on the menu (and would not yet have seen the content the test changes). I have seen a couple solutions to similar questions:- creating a URL parameter that the second A/B test could watch for likely won't work in this case if it means the whole page has to reload, this would mean the user could never successfully see the dropdown if the page reloads every time they try to access it - I found a solution [1] involving creating a custom mbox, offer, and audience - but it is not clear to me how this would be implemented in Adobe Target or

I keep receiving the below error when trying to edit or create activities in Target. I am on the latest version of Chrome and have the VEC helper tool. I tried creating activities in Firefox, Edge, and Incognito mode in Chrome and am receiving the same error in all browsers. It use to show up randomly in the past but usually reloading the page resolved it, but now It is happening more frequently, and I can't get the error to go away. Does anyone have a similar experience and know-how to resolve it?

There is a scenario where customer has implemented 2 activities using VEC and Form based editor. In Form based activity, original page is displayed first before redirect happens (not an expected behavior). However, in VEC Custom code based activity, redirect works instantly i.e. there is no flicker at all. I've already checked the basic requirements like 1. pre hiding snippet2. Order in which scripts are executed3. Body hiding attribute. Everything seems to be in place. I just wanted to understand that is this the expected behavior in case of form based activity when using redirects or am I missing some point.

Hello fellow knowledge seekers, Does Adobe Target support TLS 1.3, specifically VEC? I have not seen any documentation specifically about 1.3 but would assume it would be supported by default. URL > is (case sensitive)If you have a URL that has capital letters in it, do you have to include the URL >is (case sensitive) rule to the target test to make sure you get all traffic?also do you need the URL > contains rule in order to capture all of your IC and Tracking codes? Basically, how smart is target when it comes to the URL of your page?

What does a 4/8 hour delay mean between Analytics and Target? Does it mean we can't use an Analytics segment in Target, in real time?

Hello, I'm curious if there is a way to make exclusion lists and catalogs dynamic based on the criteria in the rules that we use to establish them? I see this documentation https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/target/using/recommendations/criteria/dynamic-static/use-dynamic-and-static-inclusion-rules.html?lang=en but that only seems to apply to 'Criteria' -- which we can hack our way into using, but I'd rather have an exclusion list that dynamically updates based on new products qualifying, or falling off for that matter because the data point has changed.. We have our feed based on Adobe Analytics Classifications which updates every day. We have Premium. Is this a capability that i'm missing? If not, i think its a valuable optimization. Thanks,Robbie
