Adobe Target

We have components in Experience Manager written via a javascript framework.  As a result there are custom html elements in our markup.  This is presumably quite a common scenario.  Target seems to struggle to work with this markup - in terms of amending text and images.What should Target be able to do in this case and - if it is problematic - what can our developers or adobe do to help?Here's a snippet example of our markup,

I am trying to create the Campaign where. For example the unique visitor has visited the website,the function should save the user profile in some database and when the user revisits the Campaign it should show the offer for that particular visitor.How is it possible using the target ? Is it possible using the global mbox ? Not sure about this as I am new to the Target tool.

I am trying to add a Banner or a box with some text and color across the header of one of my experiences, basically the variation of the activity. I cannot see a way to do this when selecting the container of the page to add or replace with. Am I able to do this without having Adobe Scene 7 integrated? Keep in mind I am not swapping out an image, only adding a banner to the top of the page with new text and color to go with it. Any help would be great.

Hi Objective : Which label (label A vs Label B) leads to more clicks on the navbar. Site Name : abc.comI have a simple A/B test on a navbar which is as below:Exp A: Home | Contact Us | Label A | ProductsExp B: Home | Contact Us | Label B | ProductsAs this is on the navbar - I have implemented template rule which says:domain contains : abc.comSo the exp. remains the same for different URLs of the site. Problem: The "Products" link actually lands to : subdomain.abc.com -- so if a user clicks on products while he is still in Exp B - he can see "Label A"  in the navbar - which is not great . (subdomain.abc.com and abc.com -- are visually very same - header and footer is same - so it leads to a bad experience for user. )I have tried the following :1. Add subdomain.abc.com in my template rule . I tried with and without comma as a separator - but it doesnt work. I guess the answer is somewhere else . How can i fix this issue ? Do I have to do anything on the subdomain -- subdomain.abc.com . T

Hello, I have setup 2 test -  an A/B test for Mobile Users and an Adobe Recommendation test for Desktop users. So i have: Test A (A/B) with page delivery (url + page template) and Audience targeting set up to mobile visitor onlyTest B (REC) with page delivery (url + page template) and Audience targeting set up to desktop  visitor only  If a desktop visitor land on page that qualify for both tests, how the collision is managed?  Does the user automatically qualify for the test B or should I expect to see some cases where the user go through test A, but doesn't qualify for the experience at the audience level.Many thanks,Jerome

Hi Folks, As per my knowledge Adobe Target is using DeviceAtlas for mobile targeting.As per article from DeviceAtlas it's possible to detect iPhone 6s vs iPhone 7 audience given at link How DeviceAtlas detects iPhone models So now question is since Adobe target is using DeviceAtlas can I create a two different audience for iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 which will serve different experience to iPhone 6s and 7 users.this is need for mobile web not native app Thanks,Manish Agravat

I am trying to integrate AC classic 7 with  AT standard.Integration steps: Integrating Target with Adobe Campaign In the section, Include a Target Offer in an Adobe Campaign Email following  steps are mentioned:Create an email in Adobe Campaign.In the email properties, click Include > Dynamic image served by Adobe Target.Select the default image from the shared assets.Specify the location (rawbox).Add any other decisioning parameters, such as the gender of the recipient.Preview the email, selecting at least one recipient for each offer (in this case, a male and a female)Out of this above 6 steps I have performed above 3 steps but I am not able to specify the rawbox and add the decision parameters.Please advice how to configure the same:How to create a "rawbox". The mobile viewport preview feature is designed majorly for responsive websites. However, these also work for the mobile pages which are accessible only in native mobile browsers.Ensure that you have defined the correct Operating system while creating a mobile viewport. This works as a user agent of the native mobile browsersSteps to create a mobile viewport :1. Login to Target and navigate to Setup2. Add new mobile viewport from bottom right corner3. Anyone  else noticed the latest Firefox tracking blocker feature preventing Target from loading? Our testers are finding they have to constantly disable the tracking blocker to see our tests which has me concerned, with now Safari launching their own tracker blocking features in the latest versionThis article suggests Firefox is blocking the Adobe tracking hostname (omtrdc.net or 2o7.net) Firefox tracking protection blocks all the major tracking vendors Would be good to know if anyone else is facing this issue and possible 'workarounds'

Experience TargetingIs there an easier way to call up a 100 mi radius around a city, lets say Littlerock, Arkansas, without making an audience filled with zips or city names etc...? I know that radius and geo is not 100% accurate but it would cover 90% of my needs for a project. Thank you!

hi, I am hoping someone would be able to assist with in this situation.We have an implementation where we integrated Adobe Target with Adobe AEM. That way the end user can do personalisation / targeting from either of UIs.However as an result we end up having multiple mboxes firing for each experience on the page. I will illustrate:at.js injected via DTM adds a global mbox to the pagewhen experiences are created within AEM UI using Targeting mode, each of the targeted components (or building blocks of the page) become "offer locations" and they then start to fire 2 duplicate local mboxes.the mbox duplication takes place once per component. What it means is that no matter how many experiences (modifications of the same component) we create, it will still send 2 local mbox calls on page loadif there are multiple targeted components on a page, each will fire 2 local mboxes. Example: if we target 5 components, the page will send 1 global + 5x2 local = 11 total mboxes on page loadQuestion:i

I'm trying to XT a page that leads to a page I'm running an AB test on.But I don't understand how to connect the links on the XT page to the corresponding version of my AB test.For example:I am using abc.com/landing as a destination for paid media traffic.I am splitting the traffic (defining audience by CID, for example) into 2 audience segments, so:- Segment 1 will see a pop-up banner with a dog.- Segment 2 will see a pop-up banner with a cat.On click of the pop-up banner CTA, user will be directed to the same page: abc.com/testOn abc.com/test, I am running an AB test: - A = hero banner of dog- B = hero banner of catSo I want to ensure that Segment 1 sees version A, and Segment 2 sees version B.Is there a way to do this? Hello,Our team is working to reduce flicker as much as possible in our test activities, and are weighing the options for using a Custom Global Mbox (current implementation) versus auto-creating a Global Mbox.What are the potential adverse affects of switching from one to the other, particularly as it relates to live test activities? I understand that once saved, all activities will sync with the auto created mbox. This doesn't sound like an  ideal scenario.Can the implementation be changed to use Auto Create and continue to use the custom name? Is there a way to sandbox this before committing to making the switch?Thanks,Brion

Hi,I am trying to personalise the content in my website using adobe target. I have created activities and experiences. The preview urls under the activities display as expected, however, the actual website does not reflect the personalisation setup in target. I have tried A/B testing and also experienced targeting. I am testing a marketing cloud segment (A4T) and running an mBoxTrace, I see I qualify for a segment, but I get the ID. How do I find this segment in Analytics or Target:"evaluatedCampaignTargets": [  {  "campaignId": 194017,  "campaignName": "Homepage Remarket",  "matchedSegmentIds": [  1944410  ],how do I know if this is the audience I am targeting or not.
