Adobe Target

I recently tried using Target Classic's mbox3rdPartyId feature without success. Hello,I'm trying to create a test on a page that is built using React.js and although I can see the changes in the VEC, when running the test, the changes are not shown.  I did saw in one instance that the image flickered, then it displayed the original content.Here's the original page: http://test.manzanet.us/account.htmlHere's the page with the changes:  http://test.manzanet.us/account.html?qa=testAI've attached an image of what the VEC editor shows, which is not consistent to what is shown on the page.  I tried troubleshooting it and didn't see any errors.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Ridder H. Hi everyone I have a question about including the referring URL parameters when using an Adobe Target Classic Redirect Offer. I’m testing a redirect offer and have checked the option to include the referring url.  The problem is that when the referring parameter values are passed our colon symbols are being expressed as  %3A.  Is there a setting that we can use that would keep the : instead of the %3A?  Note that we often also switch from one subdomain to another as our test content is on a different Content Management System. Example control URL http://www.morethan.com/pet-insurance-quote?utm_campaign=PPC:PET:Brand:Google&gclid=ABC123&gclsrc=aw.ds Example redirect destination with : to %3A replaced http://beta.morethan.com/landingpage-test?utm_campaign=PPC%3APET%3ABrand%3A Google&gclid=ABC123&gclsrc=aw.ds Any ideas or tips that I can try? Is it possible to create a segment of a small number of users, that you identify by specific email addresses?

I have a hopeful simple question please.I have a currently running test where a winning treatment was recognized/achieved.  On 6/21/16 12AM, I was asked to update the test Traffic allocation to 100% to the new experience that was declared the winner.  I altered the Activity Traffic Allocation to 0% Control/100% Treatment B.  However, as 6/21 day progressed the metrics showed traffic still going to Control when we wanted all traffic to go to new treatment. QUESTION: Is there a transition process over time for traffic to actually go to a full 100% or should it happen relatively instantly?

We don't want to expose the client's IP address but Adobe is not yet have the obfuscation of IP addresses (all 4 octets rather than last bit) in the marketing cloud. So we'd like to place a proxy between client's browser and Adobe marketing cloud to obfuscate the IP address. I can see I might be able to hijack at.js serverDomain (omtrdc.net) to our proxy and then forward all the data to omtrdc.net. I guess there might be better ways of doing this?Thanks

Hi all, has anyone used Profile Fetch API (https://www.adobe.io/products/target/docs/reference/profiles/profile-fetch) to programatically fetch all attributes set against a user-profile? I am using following address currently for the purposehttp://<client-server-domain>/rest/v1/profiles/<pcId>?client=<clientCode>This doesn't fetch profile attributes in real-time i.e. if I clear my cookies, load my page and run this API, I get 404 - no profile found message. However, if I run it after some time (around 30 minutes later), it returns all profile attributes in JSON format.I was wondering whether there is any way (new version of this API or passing any specific parameter etc.) which can enable me fetch profile-attributes as soon as its updated on the server? Hi,I have recently started exploring recommendations engine. I am able to push the data to recommendations engine and retrieve it back via view mbox. I have a use case where in based on a category id passed along with view mbox, I want to see the recommendations which has the same category associated with it. So while creating recommendations activity, I chose 'Most Read Articles in this category' as criteria.While trying to see the appropriate recommendations, I have the following mboxCreate function call 'mboxCreate('mbox-name', 'entity.categoryId=work')' and I have assumed that it will retrieve recommendations whose category matches with the category I have written in the view mbox but I was wrong because I was seeing some random recommendations present in the collection. So could anyone pls suggest me something so that my use case runs fine.

Hello,I am trying to figure out configuration for setting up "rawboxes" with emails. I've been reading the 1 pager Adobe has, but it just leaves me with a bunch of questions that I was hoping someone can answer.1) I understand a URL needs to be called out from the ESP - but where exactly does that happen? Do I just hand the URL to the ESP and expect them to know how to use it? Or do I have to integrate it onto the email HTML somehow (like an Ajax call).2) The URL paramters:    - mbox = the div id in the HTML? do I need to inject an mboxUpdate function as well?    - mBoxPC / mBoxSession = do I need to come up with values for this? or does the ESP generate them dynamically?    - entity.id = I believe i need to provide this to the ESP to inject    - mboxDefault / mboxHost : what is the purpose of these?3) Do I need to inject any javascript into the body of the email? mboxCreate? mboxUpdate? This should be an easy question (i hope). I am trying to have the marketing team sign off on a test in Target Classic in their UAT environment. It is behind the firewall. I talked with the network guy and he said that I am probably right and that the code is bouncing off the firewall and that is why the test is not showing appropriately in this environment. Can someone tell me the IP range that I will need to have opened up so that we can get a return from Adobe. We are a US company located 15 miles from Adobe's Utah HQ.

I'm trying to set up a new Experience in Target Premium that uses an HTML offer. However, the script tag and javascript is being escaped. How can I prevent this? Is there any way to kick a visitor out of an experience if their cookie changes (based on mbox parameter) after they've entered the campaign? It seems like once you're locked into an experience you will always get that experience even if you no longer qualify for the mbox parameter designated in the audience for campaign entry.

Hi all!We have implemented product recommendations on our product details pages across all of our sites.  I'm already capturing (as an event) all instances where visitors are clicking on a recommendation.  I'm also able to capture the Product SKU for the item which they have clicked.I'm now trying to determine the best way to track what they are actually purchasing AFTER they have clicked on a recommendation.  More specifically, I need to know if they are actually purchasing a recommendation they have clicked on.  Any suggestions?Thanks!Randy

How to set up versions targeted to different audiences within experiences in A/B activities ?

Hi,I am stuck in a specific scenario where I need to pass some parameters from AEM to Target. The problem is that those parameters are populated after an Ajax call, and I can't find the way to pass them. As they are only populated after Ajax success, I think that the only way those parameters will be populated is calling the function targetPageParams after the success.I tried defining a function that contains targetPageParams, and calling it in the Ajax success event. My TargetPageParams function stopped working then (even thought it was working perfectly fine before the change). The parameters won't even appear in the Adobe Marketing Cloud Debugger. Is there any way to make this work?Thanks in advance

We currently have all our tests on Classic, but plan on transitioning to Standard.  Will Classic be around for awhile or are there plans to eol or discontinue support?

Hi,When I pass product information to Adobe Target via mbox, I was sending multiple values in comma separated fashion with categoryId entity attribute like 'entity.categoryId=Test Category Id1,Test Category Id2,Test Category Id3'. And when I see the product in Recommendations Premium product catalog, I found that it took everything as one category ('Test Category Id1,Test Category Id2,Test Category Id3') instead of segregating into multiple categories by taking comma as a delimiter ('Test Category Id1', 'Test Category Id2', 'Test Category Id3'). It used to work fine in Recommendations classic but not in Recommendations Premium. Can anyone pls help me out here?

However when we create a activity selecting a report suite from the Analytics we get a Sync error ( Please see the attached screenshot).The accounts ( both Analytics and Target ) are synced however i am not able to see this working.Please provide a solution.Thanking you in anticipation.

In Adobe Target Classic workflow, you had the ability to allow users into an experience based on the time of day.  It was configured as a segment option which could then be applied at either the experience level or campaign level.  Is this ability still part of the new Target Standard?  Is so, can any offer assistance on how to go about setting up an experience targeting campaign that changes based on Time of Day.  We have a product that is being promoted but is only available during certain time so we need to configure the message to align with that scenario.

Hello,I setup the following profile script to match the birthday month of the person://get birthday month from both profile and current month  var bday = profile.get('birthday');  var dt = new Date();  var mt = ("0" + (dt.getMonth() + 1)).slice(-2);  // if both months are the same, return true  if (bday == mt){     return 'BirthdayGroup';  }  // return false if the birthday month is different from current month  else{        return 'NonBirthdayGroup';  }I used the above code to create an audience of visitors that are in the "Birthday Month".  I tried to create an Experience Targeting activity on the page http://test.manzanet.us/, using the VEC to change the copy of the headline.  Unfortunately, it didn't work, but if I create the Experience Targeting activity using the Form-based Experience Composer, it works but it sticks the copy on the top of the page.  Is there anything that I need to do in the VEC, so the test works?  I really appreciate the help.Thanks,Ridder 

Is there any kind of audit log I might have access to; I have a user that is sure someone deleted one of her activities from Target. Would like to be able to check that out.

I am creating experience using OOTB target audience "Referred from Google". For testing the mbox offers, what parameter should I pass with mbox so that it respond with matching offers for "Referred from Google".
