Using multiple mbox'ed(6 of them). They appear to be loading one after antoher and affect other dynamic areas of CQ5.5 sitePlease link me to the documentation and examples how to load mboxes in async ! Thanks,Peter

Hi,I'm a noob (about 30 mins old) into mbox and don't have access to our Adobe Target software (client has it)Our client is using Adobe Target for their homepage which contains 8 tiles (images, with some text). They have currently implemented one of these tiles to use mbox and have the content change per Adobe Target rules that come in via a javascript object (provided by the client, not created by myself). Since the client only controls one tile it's easy, whatever comes back from Target gets thrown into the single tile. Fast forward to today, the client now wants to be able to control all 8 tiles in this same fashion. My question is, on the Adobe target side, is there an easy way to name/create a well defined data structure that maps to each tile so the frontend javascript can map each set of data properly (eg "tile-1": data, "tile-2":data, etc)?Thanks!

What is the most efficient way to troubleshoot Mbox's?

We deployed Target Standard last night and set up an A/B test. When I debug the page I can see the requests coming through but I can't see any data in the reports. How long does it take for data to start coming through? if there is a problem how to troubleshoot it?

I'm looking to start an A/B test, in which a specific offer would be the top offer shown to the visitor on a specific page, but only when that offer is available. Here's the link we're looking to test: http://uo.loewshotels.com/en/booking/uo?hotel=UECBB&checkin=05%2F11%2F2015&checkout=05%2F13%2F2015&rooms=1&sr=&code=&iata=&na=1&nk=0. I want to test having "Family Suites" as the top offer, but only when it's available. When family suites are not available, I would not want the offer to be present.How would I go about setting this up? Thanks in advance! - David   

Hi,I'd like to pass information about what campaign and experience a user is receiving from Target, into Analytics for later analysis. I believe there is a way to make a call to target on a page, to receive those information. However, I can't find any information about it.Does anyone here have experience doing this, and can guide me in the right direction?Thanks./Løjmann

How do I run a campaign only for a specific subdomain? I have the rules in place to target current page subdomain equal to what I want, but when I preview it the offers show up on the main site and other subdomains. Is this just a bug in preview or will these offers actually display on the main site?

Hello, I have a client that is exploring Adobe Target at the moment, however one question that came up is where (Data centres, physical boxes holding the data) is the data stored ?In this context, "Data" is campaign configuration, HTML offer values, campaign results. Is there any options to choose where the location of the Data is stored ?  The reason why I ask is because we have to comply with legal requirements set upon us that any solutions we use needs to be hosted within Australia. 

Hello,I'm trying to create an activity from a carousel, where the variation would be to show the items of the carousel in a different order.  How can this be done with Target Premium?  I would think that in the visual editor, when you try to edit the HTML, you would see the source under the div, but you don't.  I'm really hitting a wall here, so any help will be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Ridder  

Hi Team,I have a question in template(guided_xml.tmpl) configuration in Adobe Search & Promote.This template basically is the structure of the response returned by the Search & Promote. Under the root node "pagination", page positions First,Last,Previous,Next,viewall can be configured. Can these values be configured in any language other than english?The specific issue i am facing is, when the page position is configured in chinese language, Pagination object's hasPrevious() and hadNext() methods always returns "false", due to which the logic for displaying "Previous" and "Next" buttons is not working for this Search & Promote account.Any inputs on this will be highly appreciated.Thanks in advance.Update: Added more details<page position="First"><![CDATA[<guided-page-path gsname="first" />]]></page> is the configuration in english.Can the value for position be in any other language for example, traditional chinese?<page position="页首"><![CDAT

I drag the adobe banner component into the search result page, but the bannerArea property has no values in the drop down. Does anyone know where to define the values? I looked at the banner component jsp, The adobe SearchPromoteService has a method called getBannerAreaList(memberid, accountnumber), so the list most probably is defined in Adobe site somewhere. Can someone point out where it is or any documentation I can follow?Thanks.

Just noticed that none of our Target Standard experiences are rendering in IE8. Other browsers are fine. With so many updates to the Visual Experience Composer within the 4/28 Target release, might IE8 compatibility have been lost?

First of all I'd just like to say that I find the GUI for Adobe Target completely non-sensical. I have a dashboard full of different A/B tests. Some of which are no longer relevant to the data that we are trying to gather. All I want to do is delete these experiences so that my dashboard isn't all cluttered with junk tests that we no longer need. I've been clicking around looking for a way to delete them but thus far nothing has worked to get rid of them. How can I delete an A/B test experience from the Adobe Target dashboard?

What is the difference between Adobe Target Standard&  Premium SKU?

Hi,I'm very new to Target Classic and have been searching the documentation for a solution to my question but with no luck.What I need to do is serve a specific Offer depending on whether a custom mbox parameter value exists in an array of values.So far, this is what I have:1. Pass in my mbox parameter2. Create 3 experiences and target a Custom Segment for each Offer. Each Custom Segment uses Visitor Behavior to check if my custom parameter is equal to a single value.3. If the mbox parameter is equal to specific value then, show that Offer.This all works right now, but I'm only checking against one unique value in each Offer. I need to compare the mbox parameter to an array of values for each Offer and if the value is found in the array then show that Offer.I've tried creating Profile Attributes for each Offer, for example:var offerBArray = [ '1','2','3' ];if ( offerBArray.indexOf( profile.parameter2 ) != -1 ) {return true;} else {return false;}Then setting the Visitor Behavior to this

Hi,We are planning to integrate our AEM CQ 5.6.1 system with search and promote functionality. Wondered if anyone is able to help with few questions we had that would be great. We are still in initial stages of implementation so excuse us about these questions.Thanks in anticipation.1) Our site structure is locale specific and relies on GEO IP location functionality to redirect the request to the correct location. We believe that search promote crawlers seems to run its indexes through american ip addresses and hence our GEO IP always seems to redirect its request to our american servers and hence reads invalid sitemap. Any ideas if we are able to update search and promote to use GEO IP so that crawler server IP address is europe when indexing from europe ip address. Any other alternatives, perhaps we should have a separate search and promote configuration for EU and US so they can originate from the desired IP addresses ?2) We seem to have one search and promote account for each local

Hi!I've noticed it is not possible to receive a campaign type form any Target API methods. However one needs to provide it when e.g. updating a campaign. Is there a fix/workaround for that?I would appreciate your answer very much!

Hi, we've been running test in Test&Target containing 5 experiences. Once the experience is shown to visitor, we also send evar to analytics, that helps to cross check Test & Target data. From the beginning of the test T&T balanced traffic between experiences equally, but after few days, it started to prefer one /first/ experience. We might made any mistake in setup /maybe we should change the test type from "landing page campaign" to "A/B..N campaign" - see screenshots/. Any help or idea would be appreciated.  Thanks

Following the latest update to Adobe Target: When attempting to view or configure tests on our site with iframe buster the following happens: When Target tries to render the test page with the "experience" on it, it tries to open an iframe. However, if the page has an iframe buster on it then the page cannot render and is redirected away from the test page.Is there a way around this? what can we do to get these tests working on our site? for security issues we need the iFrame buster to be active.

Hello!I am integratign AEM 6 with Adobe Target and have some problems with it.Particularly, when I add "Adobe Target Mbox" component on the page - T&T request is sends but in console there is an error :Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function.I found that it throws when mboxOfferDefault.prototype.show(content) function is called from /etc/clientlibs/foundation/testandtarget/util/source/init.js.The problem is that this function calls this.hide(content) which doesn't exists in mboxOfferDefault.prototype and that's why I suppose this error is thrown.Can anyone tell me why this function in init.js is overriding default mboxOfferDefault.prototype.show(content) defined in mbox.js andwhat will be the risks if i'll remove this function from /etc/clientlibs/foundation/testandtarget/util/source/init.js?I will be appreciated if some one will help me with this problem.Thanks!

Hi there,I've set up a few MVT / landing page testing campaigns but haven't set up a Display Ad Campaign in T&T before and I had a few questions..Our client is interested in essentially doing MVT testing within banner ads. We would test ad elements such as: color, image, headline, CTA, copy.Is this possible and is this considered a Flash campaign or a Display Ad Campaign?What is the difference between a Flash campaign and a Display Ad Campaign?Would this type of campaign use mBoxes or Flashboxes?I will likely have more questions pending your response. Can you still geo target by postal code in the new Target workflow? Whenever I enter in a Canadian postal code I receive a message saying the "zip code" is invalid. I also no longer see options to geo target by longitude/latitude as a work around - is this no longer available in the new workflow? I tried logging into the old Target workflow and I'm not seeing any geo targeting options to segment on. Does anyone know how to create a campaign that targets at the zip/postal code level in Canada?
