Adobe Target

Hi everyone!I want to start using recommendations in Target. I use Adobe Launch to deploy Target. I was wondering what the best way was of getting the product information data into Target using Launch?Can I use the 'Add Params to Page Load Request' action and send over entity.id etc. with the appropriate data layer variable mapping?Any help will be greatly appreciated! 

Hello community! When we migrated from DTM to Launch, category affinity broke. In DTM, I had a page load rule that would set the global mbox parameters based off of a data element:  I duplicated this in Launch, to no avail:  What I've tried so far:I can confirm through the debugger that the rule is firing.I can confirm that there is data in the data element (running _satellite.getVar('Product Category') in the console returns the correct product category)I tried setting the value to a static variable to ensure that the problem didn't have to do with a blank variable. I tried setting the name to "user.categoryId" and "categoroyId" Do I have it installed correctly? 

Hello ,  I have been working on a personalization use case, for which the audience groups are segmented and shared from audience manager. This was a site level personalization where in the audiences are divided into 5 audience segments. There has been a request to include a 20% control group who are exposed only to default experiences on the website. Any suggestions on how i can create an audience that is only 20% of the entire visitors of the website?? 

Is it possible to access the currently favorite category (category affinity) of a user? I need this information either in the datalayer or for persistance in the localStorage, are there any possibilities, may through API Calls? RegardsPatrick

I am working on a test to modify a banner on an interior page of a single page application. The trick is that every page in the app has the same URL, so how to I begin to construct this test when the URL criteria is off the table?

Hi, QA preview urls works fine for client side mboxes. But, not working for Server side mboxes. Is there any additional details that we need to pass as part of REST API call to utilize QA Preview urls. 

I found this documentation (https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/target/using/experiences/offers/passing-profile-attributes-to-the-html-offer.html) which allows us to use profile data in our offers. This works however, I cannot figure out how to pull in updated data values without reloading the page. Is there a way to update the content without reloading the page? Perhaps on some sort of event listener (ex: click event)?   Thanks!

Hey all, We are just about to start trying Auto Personalization, Auto Allocate and Auto Targeting tests but I understand you can only use Adobe Target to report with these. I remember in Adobe Target Classic, when we reported into target, we were able to select metrics from Adobe Analytics to use in that specific target test. Is this still possible as I don't seem to be able to find a way to do this? Thanks in advance

Is Adobe Target billed on every page view of every page where the library is delivered?  Or is it billed for the whole domain where the library is delivered, even if it is not delivered to all pages or site sections within that domain?

Hey Guys, I'm new to Adobe Target and I was asked to migrate a current solution that is using the old Adobe 4.x version with PhoneGap. In their code which by the way is not totally available for me they use the method ADB.targetLoadRequest(success, fail, name, defaultContent, parameters);to get the requests.  So I thought that for this I needed to implement  https://aep-sdks.gitbook.io/docs/using-mobile-extensions/adobe-target/target-api-reference#retrieve-location-content-requestspublic static void retrieveLocationContent(final List<TargetRequest> targetRequestList,final TargetParameters parameters) It seems that the interface changed a bit so I would assume that the TargetRequests is build using the 'name', 'defaultContent' and 'parameters' from the previous call but if that is the case I'm a little bit confused of how to build the TargetParameters class which we did not used to have. is it okay to leave it empty?I have been trying this combinations but

Hi, When i view Target reports in Adobe Analytics, i see that all the activities are reported as 12 PM even though user might be active during the different time of the day. What do i need to do in order to get Hour of the day working for Target Activities? Thanks and Regards,Nitin

Hi Guys, I'm using AEM 6.2 which is integrated with Target thru cloud services for a/b testing and rules based personalization. The logic works properly for both activity types, but there is a bug in the AEM author environment. After targeting any components they look good unless I leave page. If I leave page or my session expire and I re-visit targeted page, components are invisible. I can see there are some border lines for each component, but the content itself is invisible. I can normally operate on any component and targeting works properly on publish instance, but it's difficult to work with some components when I can't see them. I can't see any related errors in the console or AEM error.log Help? 🤔 🤔

I am looking to personalize a page for users that enter the site  with a specific parameter www.example.com/testpage.html?utm_term=example7 the logic i used was Site Pages: Landing Page Query containsutm_term=example7 the experience fires upon initial entry but does not persist when user within the same session returns to the page without the parameter. How can I make sure the experience persists for the lifetime of the campaign, that way any user who went to the page with the parameter will forever see the personalized experience

Hi everyone, i'm here with a lot of doubts of target but i'd like start greeting all of you guys for this community.Well, about the thread, i'm working in a custom implementation with mobile app (both systems Android and IOS), we've use an scenario with Target and Analytics through Adobe Launch, the integration on first was a POC of  their app mentioned on their documentation called "BusBooking app", so all integration looks fine at the point of feature VEC, but at the moment of generate and activate an simple A/B testing, we cant see any change on the app, the segment is allocated as 50% 50%, so i cant understand what could it be wrong.Someone can help me? if its necesary i'll got you all the context scenario.Thanks for your time guys!

I am using JSON Offer to manupulate the webpage. I use getOffers and applyOffers functions to show what I retrieved from Target to users. I also listen to a specific action that will be reported to the Target, like clicking a button. If this button is clicked I call trackEvent function to report user action. But somehow there is no information about my activity in the Report panel of Target.I tried to set my primary goal to Conversion -> Viewed an mbox/Clicked on mbox or Engagement -> Page Views but nothing has changed.I don't create an empty div that represent the mbox. I call getOffers to get the json data from Target and after I retrieve the data I call applyOffers to manipulate the webpage.I see that I can pass extra object called metrics that can report click actions when calling applyOffers. adobe.target.applyOffers() - at.js 2.x I haven't tried it but what if I want to set my success metric to just viewing of mbox.I change one of the properties of mbox.options before I cal

I'm trying to pull my list of offers via the API. I am only seeing the offers in my Default Workspace, and the JSON output for each other does not have the "workspace" property.
