Adobe Target

I'm working on getting a banner added to an web-based SPA using Target 2.3.1 via the newest Adobe Launch extension and I've got a banner set up to be added before a certain div.  However, when I navigate around the app, I keep getting additional banners inserted above the one that's already been added, which continues to happen every time I click around within the area that is set up for Page Delivery within Target.  I'm using Change in Data Element based on the page URL, but I'm getting the same results when using History Change.   Any ideas?

Hi Experts, As per help doc, Entity attribute values expire after 61 days. This means that you should ensure that the latest value of each entity attribute is passed to Target Recommendations at least once per month for each item in your catalog. does this mean if the same value for an entity attribute is updated then attribute will not expire. ?or should it have new value for entity attribute not to expire?

Does anyone have a recommendation how to best handle this with Target Standard? Scenario:100+ store openings in a year, we show a single zip code a modified static single variant hero image on the HP, city name (dynamic) CTA with a unique destination URL to the store opening page. Store opening events are about 3-5 days long so they all need a start and end date.  Currently we duplicate an XT Activity, make the text and destination url changes and schedule the start/end. Hoping someone knows of a solution that doesn't require 100 separate manual XT activities. Ideally a single XT, single audience with all zip codes, and a new Experience is enabled once a store opens. 

I need some advice on the best way to proceed with this use case... I have personalized product recommendations for each one of my customers in an offline CRM database that my sales team uses. I would like to be able to show these recommendations to the user when they visit my site. I have a login capability and I capture their ID in Analytics with an eVar that never expires.  Ideally I would be able to create a segment that included all known visitors based the eVar that captures their ID. At which point I can create an experience for those users specifically and then showcase their recommended products on the page. I'm just not sure the best way to have the data for each user's recommended products available within the experience in Target. To detail this a bit more... let's say this is the data for two customers: User IdFirst NameLast NameRecommended Products123456JaneSmithprod2,prod4,prod5,prod7654321JohnSmithprod1,prod3,prod8,prod9 What would be the b

I want to use two different recommendations design in the same recommendations activity and divide the traffic between the 2 designs making it a 50/50 split. This idea makes it a combination of recommendations and A/B test. Since recommendations only allows one version apart from control, we are not able to add more designs as different versions in the same activity. Please let me know how we can achieve something like this @ryanr79035901

I am finding it difficult to grasp the difference between Auto-Target and Automated Personalization. Am I wrong to understand that the only difference between the two is Auto-Target uses not just your information to target a user but also previous users with similar profiles whereas Automated Personalization is the building of the profile of the individual and the audience?My confusion stems from the fact that both seem to be AI driven targeting based on a profile of what you like and creating the personalized experience from that.Thanks in advance,Justin Li

I know the general guidelines on the Adobe site around Auto Target are; When Conversion is your success metric: 1,000 visits and at least 50 conversions per day per experience, and in addition the activity must have at least 7,000 visits and 350 conversions. How rigid are these, i.e. if I have roughly 960 visits a day and 40 / 35 conversions, is this still viable to run and it will take longer to achieve confidence? Does this work in the same way for say 800 visits?  I would like to try auto targeting but volume is an issue so I wanted to try and see if we could still run auto targetting.

Do Adobe Target Auto-Target and Auto-Allocate options use Bayesian or frequentist statistics? Is there a documentation that describes the statistical methods these options use? 

My client wants to know how many hits have been sent to Adobe Target during their current contract period. Is such a report available in Target's interface? Or is it only available through Client Care?

Hello, We are creating an experience where our success metric is time on site.  We have content authors who spend a lot of time on the site reviewing articles and making edits.  We would like to block our content authors from being included into the campaign so the results are not screwed.  My thought was to create a profile script to determine IP address.  We would then use this script to create an audience that targets everyone but those ranges  Could someone please comment on how to set this up?  Thanks for any assistance.

I've been getting console errors on editing experiences, even newly created activities. Trying different browsers has helped previously, although I didn't check the console then. Clearing my cache seems to get it to work once, but once I save the content or go next and try to go back it breaks again. This happens on Edge, Chrome and Opera. Hi We are currently working on a e-commerce website development by integrating AEM 6.5 with Magento. Currently I am working on Adobe Launch setup where i should be successfully able to consume Magento’s customer segment data as well as customer attribute data when the customer logs in to the store into Adobe Target. I would like to get suggestion and relevant document's on how this can be done.

We need to set up Target audiences based on a list of 10,000 ZIP codes. Target saved the audience without issues and editing the audience reveals the full list – nothing is truncated. But I recently came across this in Target documentation:(https://docs.adobe.com/help/en/target/using/troubleshoot/target-limits.html)Recommended limit : 1,000 values.This refers to the number of line-separated values in the targeting text area. For example, entering 1,000 zip codes into a zip code target. Can we chain together audience ZIP criteria with OR statements? Hi, I am building a small POC to try out some ways to capture data using at.js (version 2.3.0) directly on the page instead of Launch. I attached some profile specific attributes when sending the pageload request, they get stored within the profile in Target, but I am unable to use these parameters when I try to build an Audience in Target using the 'Visitor Profile' selector.  The requestThe response with tracing What step am I missing?  Thanks, Thomas

@ram_adobe Good Morning,  wanted to ask if Adobe Target integration is in future roadmap with SFMC crm ?

We are getting ready to share out test results and noticed that the confidence level % in Target is different than an Excel calculator that was downloaded from Adobe.  Can anyone help me understand why those two calculations are different considering they are both calculated by Adobe?  Excel version calculated confidence at 87% while Target calculates confidence at 57%.   Thanks in advance! And target shows the confidence at 57.03? 

As the title suggests, sometimes my activities don't run in Incognito mode, and by sometimes I mean it's domain related. For example running an activity on the Denmark market (www.domain.dk) works in incognito, but when I copy the same activity and translate it for use in a different market, France in this case (www.domain.fr) it doesn't work.Now I know this isn't a target issue, it's probably something on the website blocking it, I'd just like to know what it is and if there's a way to get around it?
