I have a JS-Function window.addButton(text, url) that I want to trigger when the page is loaded. Each variant of ABC-Test loads the function with different input: Variant A: window.addButton('test1', 'testUrl1')Variant B: window.addButton('test2', 'testUrl2')Variant C: window.addButton('test3', 'testUrl3') What is the best way to implement this function in Adobe Target?

Hi, I see in documentation that "collections are updated with each run of an entity", was wondering if collections are updated when we use delivery target api to update entities as well and if collection that activity is using is updated as well? so when we using inclusion rules in an activity, it will filter entities based on the update values and parameters of the inclusion rule?thank you 

All,I have two questions about Target. First, I've built A/B tests on pages and for some reason my changes will not show up in Firefox even when I will change the manual allocation to 100 percent. Has anyone had any issues with Firefox or any settings you'd recommend to get the test changes to show up?Second, will a conversion metric "clicked an element" set up on an external link be able to be tracked? I've set up a test with the metric and I'm not recording any clicks on the element and have tested on several browsers/devices.Thank you for any insight anyone can provide,Jason Darnell

Hi, I have some issues with Catalog and inclusion rules comparisons in adobe target recommendations. I am trying to use " is less than or equal to" to compare same entity attribute values that are numeric and it looks like adobe thinks of the attribute values as strings , so only when using "equals" I get a correct entity match.For example, entity.hoursSinceUpdate = 358 is returned when searching/filtering for hoursSinceUpdate is less than or equal to 72What could be causing this issue? Should I delete entities from the catalog or try updating them instead? Any suggestions are appreciated, thanky you

Hello,  What is currently the best practice when using MVT & A4t in combination from a reporting perspective? Can you see all insights needed in Adobe Analytics now or are there limitations. Asking because we are curious to understand MVT in terms of analytics making sure we can understand all 20+ combinations.  Thanks,Tim

Hi  After upgrading Adobe Target to version 2.3 we no longer have access to 'browserWidth' which we used to create an audience. So i read that i had to setup a page parameter in Adobe Launch, where i passed 'window.innerWidth' to Target. In the debugger extension i can see that under the "execute" parameter the value is {"pageLoad":{"parameters":{"windowInnerWidth":"window.innerWidth"}}}. In Target i tried to create an audience where i used this parameter, but it does not seem to work. Any pointers would be helpful. 

I want to run a simple (redirect) A/B-Test. I set my primary success metric to "Conversion" and "Clicked an Element" using the VEC to click several elements on the page I want to test.I also chose Adobe Analytics as reporting source.But what will eventually be reported in Adobe Analytics, besides the number of conversions and visitors:- Which specific element was clicked?- Will I be able to segment the number of conversion of each variant with the dimensions in Adobe Anayltics, such as device type?- Can I make detailed analysis for each variant: so can I check different metric for users of each variant, such as Time Spent of user form variant A and  Time Spent of user form variant B?

I'd like to personalize my website where the hero heading of my homepage will dynamically change if the visitor clicks on one of my paid advertisements on Google. For example, suppose my paid ad contains :"New Cars - Compare Specs, Pricing & MPG", similar to this paid advertisement by ford. If the visitor clicks on my paid advertisement, I'd like to build a personalized experience where the title of the paid ad is used as the heading of my hero banner on my homepage. Would this be feasible? If so, how would I go about developing this experience? 

Have a few questions on custom attributes -Max time the data can last – default is 14 days, can be extended to 90. Is it possible to extend to 180 days?When uploading the same file again, should the "time for which the data is active for" refresh? We found that nothing happens if the file is exactly the same. Is this correct? If so, we could potentially could add a dummy date column. Will that work?Thanks

What is the best rule to build the audience to Target Social media users

Hi, I am trying to use an MVT to test 6 different content/copy types across 6 different locations. When building out the MVT I end up Cartesianing out the number of experiences with a lot of duplication of content that I do not want. We are experience a "blinking" behavior when we run Experience Targeting test in our webpage. Is it due to the server call to identify whether the visitor qualify for a segment? Any difference if we create the segment via AA / AT / AAM? How can we avoid this?  Thanks!

Is there any OOTB way to export DAM assets from AEM to Target?

Is it possible to request the entities that belong to certain criteria. For example request 10 entities that belong to "Most viewed products from across the site" criteria?

Hi there! In our project we are trying to configure the integration between AEM and Target using Adobe I/O, we have followed all steps described in the note https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-65/administering/integration/integration-ims-adobe-io.htmlAnd it looks fine. Hi All, In Adobe target, we have Setup > Hosts > Environments where I can create multiple environments such as "Dev", "Prod" and "Stage". Each of these environments have environment IDs.We are working on using adobe target profile API to update user profiles. However, while uploading data to target with profile API, we want to first use a test environment to upload test data before uploading the final data on the live system. My question is can we use environment ID or environment name with profile API, and use which environment we want to upload the data to? This way we can keep data seperate using profile API.Can anyone please confirm? Regards,Sri

Hi,  Is it possible to use Customer Attribute/People for unauthenticated website? Trying to upload offline data into Customer Attribute and planning to use that in Adobe Target.  Also, can i use Experience cloud ID/Eloqua ID as CRM ID to upload into Customer Attribute to target the users.

We recently did an analysis to find out which products are mostly likely to be purchased together by the site visitors. We want to use this product data to personalize the product page on the website so that we can recommend the products based on our analysis. We are already passing entity id as a mbox parameter on every product page of the website and have uploaded a product catalog as collection. The out of the box criterias used in other activities work fine.For this requirement, we tried using the custom criteria and uploaded the Product IDs(entity.id) as a feed through FTP using the criteria template. Then, we tried using this criteria in the target recommendation. The uploaded custom criteria is visible only on unchecking the compatible box on the criteria selection page. On selecting the criteria, an error is displayed: "Incompatible criteria - An entity id is required for the criteria to work properly. Do you want to use it anyway?"We selected okay and used this crite

Is it possible to use some other system (internally built or other vended product) to control, within a given activity, which users get allocated to each bucket?  Basically bypass the Target allocation system and pass this in via API or similar?We have multiple A/B (and other) experiment testing platforms, and are looking into possibilities for experiment consistency across all of them.If we have a centralized process that determines experiment allocation at runtime, could this be passed into Target?   To allow existing users to still utilize capabilities within Target, while centralizing experiment allocation for cross-platform consistency. Looking through the API code and documentation, it was difficult to determine if this was possible in any of the Activity APIs.
