Adobe Target Implementation on SFCC

Hi everyone,

we are trying to implement Adobe Target on SFCC without Tag Manager. Currently we have downloaded the at.js file from Target and tried importing the file directly, but during the build process, the file gets removed and is no longer accessible.

Could you please provide us with a guide with the correct steps for a proper installation and integration on SFCC? We only found documentation for the implementation on AEM and we are stuck with the file being canceled.

We also reached the SFCC support who invited us to ask directly to you for this kind of guide.

Thank you in advance. Best regards,

Sara

Hi @saraga

Quick check - when you're referring the acronym SFCC - does that mean it's a Salesforce Commerce Cloud or something else?

Hi!

Yes, I was referring to Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

Thank you!

Hi @saraga

I don't have the experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) so may not be able to help you directly with SFCC however did you check the below documentation about Adobe Target implementation without tag manager?

If no, can you check that you followed all the steps correctly

Hi @saraga

In my experience if you include a javascript file or a script tag using the Page Designer or Content Asset it will often remove any script tags. Ideally you deploy through a tag manager that has been implemented in the head template.

I found this that explains how to get google analytics implemented - concept should be the same for at.js. I hope this helps.
