Adobe Marketo Engage General

The problem is the limitation of the length there. In the original CSV file, there is much more than 2000 and now once I create new one, I don’t have the option to upload a file, just to write down the domains and I limiter for only 2000 length.please let us upload a list without limit.

With the Next Gen update to Images and Files Details, users can now edit an image in Design Studio. Saved edits to the image will be reflected wherever the image is currently used, including any live assets. Similar to Edit Form and Edit Landing Page permissions, it would make sense to have an "Edit Image" permission added to Role Permissions so admins could lock down this capability to certain roles.

AMP brings modern interactivity to emails and could really help marketers make their email experiences exceptional. In addition to HTML and plain text, Marketo should also begin supporting text-x-amphtml, the MIME Type for AMP for email. Email clients like Gmail and Outlook.com already support it, and it's rolling out to others too. Bonus points if Marketo could integrate with Litmus or get 250ok to support AMP email version previews for testing/QA.Here's more info on the subject: Gmail rolls out AMP for Email - Litmus

The process of analyzing email clicks is very manual involving a lot of data manipulation in Excel.  For example, if we want an email performance report that excludes footer clicks (to remove social media icons, preference center, unsub, etc.) we have to pull a link performance report, get that number, and update it on the email performance report.  We can't use the green filters in Marketo since it would filter people out across all metrics instead of just clicks.  I know we can include the MktoNoTrack tag in the HTML, but there are times we'd like to see that click traffic, so it would be helpful to have the data available to us.

Right now, the links in subscription emails to automated reports are only active for 24 hours. In some cases, to allow for vacation time, or other team commitments, the link may need to be extended for more than 24 hours to avoid having to resend the email manually to refresh the link. Is it possible to set this in the same way we set the link expiration for marketing emails to contacts?

For better usability, we should have the ability to select multiple constraints within a filter simultaneously. For example, I am setting up a smart list with multiple account-level requirements,  and I need to add upward of three constraints to each filter individually. Instead of having to click into filter and add constraints one at a time, it would be much more efficient to select all the necessary constraints at once.

It would be nice to disable the auto-save feature or at least have an undo.  The issue is 2 fold.1. It makes the process of updating much longer. For instance, when updating the settings section in an email. After clicking operational email it saves, then clicking include webpage link it saves, after updating the email address it saves, after updating send name it saves. Thus, making a 5 second task 45+ seconds. 2. The real issue arises when updating emails, forms etc. Recently our collateral designer created an email. He unknowingly had two windows open to the same email. After completing the email in one window, it saved. Later, he was going through his open windows and came across the second window he had opened to the previously completed email. The blank email then auto saved when he clicked on it. His completed email was over written by the blank email. Since, the email had never been approved all work was lost.

Can you please add the ability to rearrange the fields on the layout when viewing custom object records? The fields are perhaps arranged according to the order in which they were created, but there are logical groupings that we want to create to make it easier when viewing the records. As it stands, we have date fields that are all over the place, in an order that is not helpful.

As a developer who builds tight integrations with Marketo, I am interested in being able to send users back to Marketo where appropriate reviews can be done for things like Lead records, Smart Lists, various Assets, etc.For example, if I am showing records to a Marketo customer that may need to be reviewed (such as having a bad email address), I'd like to provide the exact record in Marketo's UI for cross-referencing. However, to create a URL around a Lead record's details, the structure needs to be like the following: app-aba.marketo.com/leadDatabase/loadLeadDetail?leadId=123 Without an Idea like Provide API method to determine instance datacenter , there is no way to provide a correct URL to end users. There is no valid way to create a redirect that would allow a developer to send people back to Marketo without knowing the exact datacenter and pod. Today, Salesforce works around this potential issue by using login.salesforce.com as a valid wildcard

We require the ability to filter custom object data more effectively. Currently, our filtering options are limited to link and dedupe fields, which do not adequately meet our needs.See details in ticket E-001529804

Currently Marketo - LinkedIn Audience Match integration only uses email address to match audiences in LinkedIn. This causes small match rates and smaller audiences than when manually importing customer lists or using rival tools. LinkedIn Integration should be enabled to use all the possible data points to get higher match rates and better audiences. These include: email, firstname, lastname , jobtitle, employeecompany, country.

When is Marketo going to support AVIF images? You can upload an AVIF image but when selecting images to use, no thumbnail is displayed (it just shows no preview available).          Once you select the AVIF image, you get a system error. Dismiss the error and everything is fine, but this is really annoying and makes it harder to select the proper image. Here is the error:

Please create a way for me to update the field label of a field when it is in use! We have fields that we are using throughout our instance that are too deeply integrated to update with the current workflow. Our specific use case is related to attribution tracking. We are adding and changing some UTM fields and would like to update our field labels to denote 'First Touch' and 'Last Touch'. We are using global forms but the fields are still too intimately tangled with our programs, filtering, etc. for us to be able to remove the field from use in order to update the name. Its not critical to the business but it would make my life a whole lot easier if we could do this!

As customers utilize newer features within GTW, the use case for this feature will grow and it would ideal for the integration with Marketo to support this.

We should be able to access the data we input in Smart Lists for programs and smart campaigns. Currently, once a smart campaign or program runs, it is difficult to view all data in a Smart List filter. For example, if I target 10 different states in a filter, I can only hover over the list of states. I could not copy the list without copying the entire program or Smart Campaign.  It creates additional work to recreate an audience if we can't at least copy and paste the information. Cloning the program or smart campaign does not work for all use cases. In addition, using "member of program" does not provide accurate targeting in some cases. For example, if I want to emulate a campaign that happened 6 months ago, our database may have changed greatly since then. "Member of program" would not capture all contacts who would otherwise be eligible for the smart list in this case.

We are looking to customize "Forward to Friend" feature in Marketo to have the following result, "When the email receiver forwards the received email from Marketo to a friend, the receiver should receive the email with a customized message in subject or in body of the email before forwarded email content"This customization is not currently not available, could you consider adding this in future developments

There are a couple of ideas out there for a better representation of this view in Smart Campaign Schedule:  But I wanted to express again how confusing this line can be.  1. Email is operational. Blocked from emails doesn't account for that, but still lists all records which are unsubscribed or marketing suspended. That is not true: These people are in fact not blocked from that email. Also, it blurs the view on people who are really blocked, e.g. due to being email invalid.2. That line also appears if there isn't even a "Send Email" flow step in that Smart Campaign. It is also shown when the flow step e.g. is "Change Data Value" where there is no such thing as a block.I had to explain this misleading information to colleagues or clients countless times.

A common (and serious) defect in lead scoring campaigns is when bots (not people) automatically click every link in an email. Whether it be for security, spam filters, etc., this happens frequently and makes lead scoring a moot point when people are getting credit for several link clicks they, in fact, did not make. Why couldn't marketo engineer something that recognizes when multiple links are opened within a second of each other? When this is recognized, cancel out the score change, interesting moment, and any metric triggered. It's pretty much impossible for a human to open 4 links in one second. And even if some freak does do this, we'd rather have this one outlier not counted instead of hundreds of leads with grossly inflated lead scores due to bots. This is just one idea on how, but really any fix to cancel out bot-generated activity is what we need.

I would like to propose an enhancement to the API functionality for Smart Campaigns.Currently, while scheduling a Smart Campaign for "Run Once" or "Run Later" execution is supported via the API (as described in the documentation below), there does not appear to be a way to retrieve the scheduled execution date once it has been set:https://developer.adobe.com/marketo-apis/api/mapi/#operation/scheduleCampaignUsingPOSTHaving the ability to programmatically fetch the scheduled date would greatly enhance the usability of the API, allowing users to better monitor and manage campaign schedules, especially in automated workflows.I believe this feature would add significant value for users who rely on the API for streamlined campaign management.Thank you for considering this idea! I’m looking forward to any feedback or updates regarding this feature.

With all the focus on keeping spam complaints low it would be great if there was a way to track spam complaints on the campaign level instead of having to create a smart list looking for spam complaints and then having to dive into the activity log to find the campaigns.Spam complaints per email send should be visible like any other metrics on an email performance report and the email tab for each campaign - count and percentage.

I have done AB testing for multiple campaigns. Subject lines, whole emails and Send Name. Now I want to create a detailed reporting for all the campaigns. I want to drill down analysis like winners in each. Is there any way to extract the report which shows the winners too. How to do this?

We spend a lot for this platform. Features made for Salesforce should be made for D365 as well. Actionable data is the weakest capability in Marketo. D365 users are tired of waiting for enhancements.

I need to be able to run a trigger when someone is created through a DynamiChat dialog.   Can we get a constraint for DynamicChat added?

I discovered an interesting issue with the Email Performance Report that I will assume less than 10% of Marketo users are aware of.   This issue is detailed below in a note at the bottom of this help doc:  "Multiple sends from the same campaign to the same person are counted only once." Email Performance Report Help Doc   So does that issue mean?  For those of us who use tokens all across our Marketo instances and use them particularly to swap in/out content via those tokens for scalability and efficiency, (maybe in an automated nurture) this is a BIG problem.    When a person is sent an email from the same campaign multiple times over any timeframe, the Email Performance Report only records a single email send    Example Notice the three email sends below.  Two of the sends are via the same campaigns.     The below report only displays 2 emails were sent - and this is our issue   Solution To me, every email send in t
