What's the difference between a "Unique Lead" and a "New Name"?

In the RCA/Campaign reports, what's the difference between a "Unique Lead" and a "New Name"? Thank you,

New Name=new to marketo first time it was entered
Unique Name= unsure...might be deduping by email.

To remind ourselfs, do you have a screenshot?

New Name is for Programs. i.e. they were acquired by that program (net new)
Unique Lead is when you want to run a report on only unique leads vs leads in multple programs (to not double count).
