Updating Names to Proper Case

We are wanting to do a batch normalization of data to update all caps and lower case first and last names to proper case - does anyone know of a way to do this within Marketo or is it always using a third party?

    Hi Tim,
    I've used our CRM tool in the past to do this. You can write a workflow rule easily with this logic on the fields you want to update.

    This was the easiest way I found.

    Yes, you'll have to do this in SFDC with demand tools or something.

    You could also export the list, do the change in Excel, then reimport the data as a CSV.

    Marketo can do some normalization, but its a little clunky to implement. It definitely cannot maniulate case, though.

    Ringlead has a tool that can do this via a Marketo Webhook. If you had a savvy developer at your disposal, they may be able to build something too.
