Tracking referral links from potential leads

Is there a way to back fill web activity, like for incoming referral links to your site, of visitors who eventually became leads? I basically want to see that once a person becomes a lead if they came to my site from a referral link. I'd then like to build a smart list of these leads in Marketo. Thanks for any suggestions.
