Text Field embedded in a Form

I'm trying to solve for an element that I need to provide to our site visitors who fill out our contact us form(Marketo Based).

Is there a way to offer a text box in the actual form which allows users to send us their comment or question?  The comments don't necessarily need to be recorded by Marketo.  I just need the comments passed through the Marketo Alert that I have set up to deliver to our sales team.  I did some research on this in the Marketo Community but could find the option. If not, does anybody have a work around?  Many thanks in advance.

Hi Ken,

You can do this with a custom field.  You'd create your field in Admin > Field Management, a text area type would be best, then add that field to your form.  When a lead fills out the form, any comments they put in that field will be saved on their record, and you can use the token for that field in the alert email that goes out to include those comments for your salespeople.
