sync with marketo (c) not updating correctly after changes are made in Salesforce

I have a number of contacts/accounts in Salesforce that no longer need to be synced with Marketo. All of the accounts have been updated in Salesforce and the sync has completed in Marketo but all of those individuals still appear as active "people" in Marketo. How do I remove them from Marketo so it matches up with Salesforce? They are still appearing to have a secondary custom field, that does not exist in Salesforce,checked. Thanks for your help.

Hello Nikki,

Assuming that there is some rule that prevents leads from syncing, you should add those accounts to that rule. If there is no such rule you need to create one. Anyhow it should be done from SF side.
