SurveyMonkey/Marketo Integration

Hi! Does anyone use the SurveyMonkey/Marketo integration, and sync SurveyMonkey responses back to Salesforce?

 

I'm finding that responses can only be mapped back to the Lead/Contact objects in Salesforce, so I'm curious to see how others have set up these response fields in Salesforce to capture this data. We will be using this integration for multiple surveys, and users may complete the same survey more than once, so the business is looking to capture historical data as well.

If you want Salesforce to be the source of truth for SM surveys, shouldn’t you be using their SFDC integration? Only so much you can do if Marketo is getting first dibs.

 

There is an important case to remember, though. If you have everything hit SFDC that can also insert people on the SFDC side who already exist in Marketo but haven’t been synced over. So you’ll need an auto-merge process to put the Marketo record together with the SFDC record.
