Sending a Birthday Email

We would like to send an email each day on a customers birthday. We have read other articles, but putting the date in the future will not work for us (because our birth dates contain the year). Is there a more updated way to do this? We found this link Sending a Birthday Message but a lot of the information doesn't appear to be updated.

The procedure hasn't changed. I don't know what you mean by "our birth dates contain the year" -- so does the Date of Birth field.

It's pretty clear that the Wait Step has "Next Anniversary" of this Date.

I'm saying the procedure uses a Date field, which always contains a year. So why would "our birth dates contain the year" be exceptional?
