Send Email at the Hour of Day that Recipient most Frequently Opens

Does anyone have any insight on how to build a program that learns the time (hour of day or day of week) that a lead is mostly likely to open an email that they receive?

For example, we can learn that certain prospects tend to open their emails at 8am and others tend open their emails at 9am, so on and so forth. If this information were stored in a field, then we could optimize our programs to use this information to increase open rates (and thereby overall throughput).

Silverpop claims that this can increase in a 20 to 40 percent increase in open rates.

Not sure how this could be done, but sounds like a great feature request to me.

i had heard Silverpop had this as well.  I would love to see this feature in Marketo.

Still waiting to figure out how these will work though (I have some ideas based on using data in SFDC).
