Merging Records - System Error [13097]

I am trying to merge two records and I keep getting this system error: Failed to merge people [13097]. I am not sure what it means and have googled it already as well.

I would log a case with Support.

Hi Nicholas,

If you're using Salesforce, I would guess that's a big part of the error. For example, if you're trying to merge a Marketo lead that's tied to a Salesforce Lead/Contact record with another Marketo Lead who's also tied to a Salesforce Contact, the system will stop you.


If you can provide some more info about your CRM and the lead data there, that will help pinpoint the issue.
