Is it possible that multiple leads share a list of custom objects?

We are working on an integration project with Cvent and Marketo. Cvent has an event-management system, and each event can have many sessions and many attendees.

We map an attendee to a lead in Marketo. An attendee can attend multiple events and multiple sessions.

We plan to create a custom object for an event, which can be referenced by multiple leads.

We also plan to create a custom object for a session, which can also be shared by multiple leads.

Is it possible?

Hi Hongqing,

this will be soon possible with the "many to many" relationship in custom objects that comes with the winter'16 release, due early feb.

Thanks! That's great news! One more questions, if the shared custom object is deleted, do we need to go through all the leads to remove the reference to the custom object? Or Marketo can handle it automatically?

That's a very good question

I do not know yet, but I think that you may have to delete the references though the API.
