As marketing operations professionals I’m sure we’re all familiar with how important it is to be able to show marketing’s contribution to growing revenue. This is why having a Marketo attribution model to tie people and opportunities back to the marketing campaigns that created them is fundamental to proving marketing ROI and effectiveness.   This post will show you how to set up a centralized attribution model in Marketo so that you can track web page visits originating from paid or organic channels. I am working on building out Email Master Templates, I am trying to find some documentation on what carries down into emails from the Master Template. What modules or items will spider down to existing emails, like what is the criteria. For example, I updated a social image in the template, and it never updated in the email template. Does the module in the template have to be setup a certain way, I understand why general text will not carry down into emails, but what exactly needs to be set to make sure it carries down to ALL emails.

I'm having an issue with a Marketo template (Default template: "Newsletter" > "Snowbunny") where my columns are coming across as stacked rather than horizontally oriented as they should. In my preview all looks fine and when testing/sending to PC accounts it's all fine but when rendered on a MAC in outlook all of the columns are stacking. Does anyone have any suggestions on what needs to be adjusted within the code (I've included below) in case anyone knows? If we enable Email opened and Clicked link in email in our sync options, will we be able to see in Salesforce if a contact that was sent a Marketo email opened and/or clicked the email? If yes, where would we see the information in Salesforce? Are there any prerequisites for this?

I have a campaign that I want to to trigger every time an acceptable action occurs, but once it hits 5pm, I want it to ignore all triggers (not delay them) until 9am the next day, where it will then resume, and trigger based of acceptable actions until 5pm again. How can I achieve this?

I am trying to upload a .csv file of email addresses into Marketo and keep getting an "invalid encoding" error message. Not sure why this is?

We recently ran an event and I'm keeping track of the ROI off the back of it.Our syncing rules from the Marketo program to Marketo Measure are based on having a program success. In our Marketo program I can see 38 successes, but only 32 in Marketo Measure (with status updated 3 days ago), which is one issue.The other issue is one of the contacts I dug in to has a touchpoint for the event, but despite having the same email address that touchpoint isn't associated with the Salesforce Contact for the person. In fact only 2 touchpoints out of 6 for that email address are attached to the contact. The first issue I can imagine something is setup wrong and I can probably do something to resolve it.The second issue I'd like some help with, I thought MM deduped by email address and I'm sure I read that if you have multiple CRM records with the same email address it will show all touchpoints on all CRM records, leading to some duplication.But in this case there's only one person record in C

Quick question for the community Working on a new Webinar event program template and my Ops team wants to send emails using nested email programs under an event program in order to take advantage of sending for local time zone.  We are a global company and send emails to recipients across multiple regions where there time zones can be drastically different.  My question is would nesting an email program for the invitations like I show in the screenshot below have any negative impacts reporting?  Or do we need to make sure those "email send" programs that are nested get added to the event channel?  Also any chance of double reporting in tools such as  Revenue Explorer, Email Insights or Performance Insights while using nested programs like this?   Would there be any other 'gotchas' that I'm missing?    If there are reporting issues by doing this would anyone have a suggestion for supporting time zone send as part of a

Hi all,I've created a guided landing page and have set to redirect to an external page after the form submission.I'd like to pass the value of the FirstName field and then to render it on a Wordpress page with the message saying something like."Thank you, {FirstName} for getting in touch..."Does anyone know if this is possible? Any support would be very much appreciated.  Background:We are a housing development business, building and selling plots/houses on housing developments in the UK.We have a unique, proprietary CRM that is very difficult to influence hence, the seemingly "roundabaout" solution I am about the explain. Solution summary:When a customer enquired/expresses interest about a housing development, a unique Custom object entry is created in our Marketo instance, linked to the person record. We would like to personalise a range of emails with contextualised information based on these enquiries. Our solution is to use velocity script to populate tokens within a high-level folder, that can then be inherited and utilised within the subsequent emails. This simple script is essentially, updating the token with the information of that specific development based on the "EnquiryOutletName" field. Issue summary:This is working great for us!

We are using a Marketo form on our site as our Demo form, and have built it to hide most of the fields until the email address is entered and Clearbit can check before revealing any more unknown fields. This works totally fine when the form is embedded on the site - however when we embed the form as a popup in Elementor we sometimes experience issues where we see two forms render at once or show all the fields without hiding them as expected.When this happens we see the following error:Has anyone else experienced issues when embedding a Marketo form with hidden fields into an Elementor popup?

Hi Everyone,Is there any way I can hide/or block search engine crawlers to access the assets (PDFs, white papers, etc) within the Marketo platform?Since the assets are gated via Marketo forms...so I don't want anyone to get the direct access to them.

If I remove a SFDC field's visibility to the Marketo sync user profile and then weeks or months later restore that visibility, will that field begin to sync with the Marketo field to which it was previously synciing or will it create a new Marketo field?

I have a theory that Marketo's "in future before xx days" uses hours as a unit of measurement. Can anyone confirm or provide insight?Situation: We want to send a renewal notice to customers whose subscriptions expire 30 days from the send date. We are using expiration date "is in future 31 days", and expiration date "is in future after 30 days" to isolate that 30th day before expiration. We are transitioning these renewal notices from an old marketo instance to a new marketo instance. I'm noticing some weird discrepancies between the two systems and I want to know more about how Marketo calculates those natural language durations for "in future 31 days" and "in future after 30 days".Example:In the old system Contact A's expiration date is set as 4/5/2024 (no timestamp)In the new system Contact A's expiration date is set as 4/5/24 11:59pmIn the old system, Contact A qualifies for the smart list and is sent the renewal notice on 3/5/24.However, in the new system Contact A qualifies

Hi team,Over the last 3 days my company has come across an increase of undelivered emails in Marketo and the main reason was for being added to a Spamhaus blocklist. We've checked our DNS, sender reputation and everything else and we don't see anything different compared to last week or even last month to justify such increase.Is anyone having similar issue in Marketo? I was reading a thread on the forum and realize consent for the privacy checkbox must be optional for end-user.My question is, if end-user does not consent, by not ticking the box and submits the form, what do we as Marketo record owners need to do on our end? - Is there a standard or protocol for that?Are we to purge their submission? My organization currently uses Intercom as our chatbot, but I believe there are other ways we could utilize Dynamic Chat that we are not currently using. Wondering if anyone has experience with creating conversational flows based on website activity? Rather than a form fill? The business team want to know what kind of report Marketo offers to validate which email domains are being used in Marketo. As in existing Marketo instance there are multiple SPF email domains (10+)  that are verified but not sure which SPF domain is being used for sending email and tracking links. In the existing account there are 4 branding domain(CNAME) that are set up successfully. Each has a different domain. And there are 11 SPF records added which are verified out of those SPF records 2 SPF record are not matching with branding domain but are verified too.

Hi, I'm looking for more information around the use case and if there is any more information besides what's in the product documentation. Couldn't find much through Google or YouTube videos. Would love to see a case study of this that was used in the real world so I can gain additional insights instead of just LaunchPoint services set up, etc.  What does the reporting look like? Are the engagement data fed back into Marketo? I know there are some options under the smart campaign.  Can I send one static list to all three services or do I need to send the static list to each individually, etc. Thanks in advance.

Recently we have got notification for few of the oprational smart campigns as "This is rare, but the Smart Campaign experienced an unexpected hiccup and some flow steps may not have succeeded", however the campaigns are still working fine.The smart campaign detailed as: Smatlist: [Trigger] Email Bounces - Email is any Flow step: Add to list
