Hello all - I can't seem to find this answer, so any help is appreciated. I'd like to automatically append the email id (marketo asset email id) to a query string parameter. As it's not available in the field list when creating an Email Script token, does that mean it's impossible? Thanks!

Hi there, I do have a custom field in Marketo which is being used in 100s of SCs. Name - abc, Type - NumberInitially this was not required to sync to with SFDC. Now there is a requirement to map this field with SFDC. How to do this?I tried many ways, read about it. I know that creating field in SFDC on first hand makes the process easy. But in my use case, how to do it?

Hello! I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I'm building a preference center, which will contain 4-5 content categories that a contact can opt-in to. It would be nice to have a section in the customer info section dedicated to these preferences - content categories that a contact is subscribed to, the date they subscribed to each content category, and the date they unsubscribed to a content category. I've poked around on this subject in this forum, but get thrown off when I see things like "intermediate gateway" and API calls. Would custom objects be the right idea, or can someone point me in the right direction?

Hi all. I inherited a Marketo instance where a lot of things were developed over the years by different people. I am now trying to make my UTMs work in email.What we need to happen is: When someone clicks a link for webinar registration, record the following in custom fields (note: these custom fields are also used by the javascript that captures UTM parameters from a form fill): Source - Last: UTM Source = mktoSource - Last: UTM Medium = emailSource - Last: UTM Campaign = nurtureHere's what's happening: By default all email clicks get these values (notice the fields are different; are they out of the box?): utm_source: mktoutm_medium: emailI don't know where to change these fields to the ones I need, i.e., where in Marketo I can specify the custom fields (Source - Last: UTM Source etc.) to be used for email clicks. In our email template, there is also a way to set a Global Variable for UTM Campaign (again, NOT the field we are using; likewise, I don't know how

Hi all, I was hoping someone could assist me with a forms-related query. I am trying to create a form with the ability to display simple calculation of previous form field selections. Simply put, within the form: - Field A (Product Price) currently as a currency field- Field B (Product Quantity) currently as a integer field I would like to have a Field C that follows, which will automatically calculate Field A x Field B. I have looked into Formula fields, however I am unsure if they are applicable to my ask and have been unable to use them within the form. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, Currently, we're working on a lead scoring model. In lead scoring, we employ demographic and behavioral scoring. We categorize leads into four groups based on their scores and engagement: A, B, C, and D. We represent this on a XY axis graph with demographic score on one axis and behavioral score on the other. By targeting individuals according to their score, the BDR team can focus on A's and B's. They can wait for C's and D's to reach the threshold before contacting with them. Any thoughts?"

Hello We do have a couple of fields in Saleforce which have picklist values but the same doesnt appear in Marketo when we choose that field in any form. Many a times marketo user select fields with SFDC picklist and dont use the exact picklist options, in that case the record doesnt sync to SFDC due to field integrity issue.

Hi,We have embedded tracking parameters into the URLs of all links in our marketing emails. However, when recipients click these links, some landing pages would revert to the original URL without showing the tracking parameters, while other landing pages accurately show the parameters in their URLs. This inconsistency is impacting the accuracy of our referral traffic data from email campaigns. We are not sure why this discrepancy might be happening. How should we investigate and resolve the root cause of this issue? Thank you. Attached is the example. We use geo-targetly link + tracking parameters for all our links in email. Below is an example of when landing page correctly shows the tracking parameters.

Hi there, I am trying to understand how Marketo and SFDC records are connected (field key). I see examples where the Marketo record will have a different email value than the associated SF record. I've also seen the Marketo record have a different Marketo ID than the associated SFDC record. How is the integration making sure that these two records (Marketo, SFDC) are connected despite having different Marketo IDs and Emails? Is it through the SFDC ID?

Hello Community, We created a campaign that has multiple Send Email and Wait steps. We are running this campaign daily and have already run it a couple of times before. Yesterday, the team added new Send Email and Wait steps (11 in total), and I want to confirm if anyone who was run through the campaign previously will receive the new emails and be added to the wait steps? I created a smart list to see what was the most recent email that was received, and it appears that the latest email that anyone was sent is in Flow Step 5, so these contacts are now in the subsequent Wait Step (Flow Step 6) and have not gotten any other emails in the campaign:  The newly created Send Email steps and Wait steps are Flow Steps 10-21. Each Wait Step is 21 days. Since no one has gone beyond Flow Step 6, this leads me to believe that everyone who is currently a member of the campaign and is added in the future should be able to enter the new Flow Steps (10-21) and receive th

Hi! Looking for some insights and knowledge on multiple websites & Munchkin Tracking. I have only ever worked with multiple brands/products being in their own instance or Partition of Marketo. I recently joined a company that is undergoing some major migrations. First, migrated to Marketo. Secondly, about to bring in 5 other brands into that same marketo instance. Currently the set up is really aimed toward only one brand. It appears that the plan is to just bring in the new brands and differentiate them based on the naming convention (I don't approve of this way of working).  Would this even work in terms of munchkin tracking? Can you use the same munchkin code across multiple sites? (These are not multi language sites, they are entirely different companies that the main company owns).  I know we need to get different CNames set up for each brand but i'm concerned about the tracking to so many sites. I have read through some different scenarios here on Marketo

Hi all!  I'm making some updates to our lead scoring model and was hoping to simply a flowstep. We use a Lead Ranking system that is a combination of of Behavior Score and Demographic score.  We then combine those two scores and map that to the "Person Score" field.  I was updating the workflow as shown below so that when a person becomes disqualified for some reasons(Not ready for sales)  we reduce the behavior and person scores by -50 points.  BUT if the lead is NEVER going to be a good lead(bad data, bad lead, etc) I want to reduce their behavior score to ZERO but keep their demographic score.  (we will deal with these leads outside of this process).  Where I am running in a challenge is that the "Change Score" flowstep can't seem to equal a token mapped to the lead object (ie the Demographic score in this case) as I get a  "No change for score value supplied in campaign" in the logs.     The o

Hi - migrating from HubSpot to Marketo, and we have a number of HubSpot forms embedded on Wordpress pages that we want to replace with Marketo forms. Was hoping to be able to simply swap in the Marketo form embed code in Wordpress. When I do this, the Marketo form initially appears and seems to accept submissions while I am logged in to WP, but when I switch browsers or log out of WP, the Marketo form does not appear on the page. Hi All,We are planning to add a few variables on our landing page template. One of these will be populated with values that could be the page title as well.We figured that it is not possible to automatically populate the variable with the value that is entered in meta tags under the title. So we are wondering if it is possible the other way around, meaning a value would be entered in a variable and we would like the webpage title meta tag to be populated with this exact same value automatically, so our users don't need to enter the same thing in 2 places.Does anyone know if this can be done? Hi all! Kind of a 'dumb question' here, but was wondering how an email in Marketo could be using a database Segmentation? I'm trying to archive an old (now inaccurate) Segmentation and see in the 'Used By' tab that there are a number of emails that come up. However, when I click on the email, I can't seem to find how the email is using the Segmentation. Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi, We're using Zoom events (not webinars) and it has an option to sync data to a custom object in Marketo. I followed their very little documentation they have but still it doesn't work. I'm not getting any error and I don't have any log to know why but it just doesn't work. Their support was not very helpful. Anyone has any idea or know how to make it work or debug it?
