Adobe Marketo Engage

I've read all the discussions here, tried a few of the solutions, and yet I'm unable to "ignore" the thank-you page.   My setup: We have several pages with an embedded Marketo form. We display a thank-you page after form submit.   I want to trigger an interesting moment when: A separate program contains the Interesting Moment using the  Visits Web Page web page contains demo I tried adding:   Visited Web Page web page not contains thank-you   with no luck. the trigger fires the Visits Webpage Here's the flow step Is this possible? I am working in a Marketo form and selected font in the form settings for each of the labels. The labels are showing up as expected. However,  I am also using Field Sets in the form, and the field set labels are using an entirely differet font and size than the rest of the labels. The differing font and sizes looks like an error and I can't control that in form settings.   Marketo support informed me that to change the Field Set Label font, I need to edit the CSS code. I do not have much experience with code and dont know what code I would need to edit the syling on field sets. Does anyone have any basic code that could be used to control field set label font and size?   See an example below. Product 1 (the field set label) is a different font than the rest of the form labels and that is what I am trying to fix.     Thank you so much in advance. I appreciate any tips! Steve

Hi I'm working with date times in Velocity and struggling to get a date to display in the correct format. I have an incoming date string in the format: '2023-04-04T13:00:00Z'. So the incoming time is 1300 UTC which is 1400 BST   I'm using @sanfordwhiteman examples from here: https://blog.teknkl.com/velocity-days-and-weeks/   And wanted to get the date to display as: Tuesday 4 April 14:00 BST   But it displays as 13:00 BST instead. Here is my sample code, note the line: #set( $ISO8601DateTimeUTC = "yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss'Z'" ) is not taken from Sanford's blog which I think is the problem, as it seems it's not recognising the format at UTC and rather just a TZ unaware format. Hi, I can't figure out why my email script is not working:   Here is the situation: A lead fills out a form for our upcoming user conference and can choose a combination of sessions that they would like to attend. This exam was updated beginning of  this year 2022.   It has a new section called "Best Practices" which counts for 16% of your overall score.   Approximately 8 questions on the test.   Planning on recertifying and wanted to know from anyone who has taken this new exam already, what type of questions will they be asking and can they be subjective in regards to best practices.   In the exam portal, what it will cover:   Demonstrate the relevance of lead scoring in marketing and sales collaboration Illustrate the benefits of the folder structure and naming conventions Apply best practices around A/B testing Explain the process to perform a quality check on any Marketo program Explain the process to perform a quality check on an email QA and naming conventions can sometimes be subjective depending on the organizations needs, so wondering how these questions are presented for anyone who has taken the new exam.  Is there a golden

Company has a white banner image with their logo on one side and an image on the other. Is there a way to use the banner as a background image and type text to show on top of it within the Marketo email tool?   They want to be able to add text in that banner for different sends. Hi! I have a client asking for a drip campaign with an irregular cadence. There are 4 different flows that users will fall into in real time based on their answers to a Health Assessment, and each flow has a different set of emails with unique wait steps.   What would be the best setup for this? I was thinking an Engagement Program with Streams set up for each of the 4 user flows. Then each Stream would have a nested Default Program with a Smart Campaign to send EM1, Wait 7 days, send EM2, Wait 30 days, send EM3, etc... People would be sorted into the appropriate Stream via Smart Campaign, and each Stream would be set to cast daily.   Would this work? I haven't seen any info (after some extensive searching) on whether there are any issues with sending multiple emails through a nested Default Program within an Engagement Program. Any pitfalls or other ideas here? Anything will help!

I am having an issue with a campaign. I have a Smart campaign to send an alert email whenever people complete the form.  However there have been many duplicate alert emails sent to the emails under "Send Alert". Not sure what exactly is going on. I think it may have something to do with the engagement program because I see this message:     

Like many here, I renew my Marketo certification every 2 years to keep my credential valid. This November was my 3rd time taking the expert exam and my second time renewing. In 2021 the Marketo expert exam got completely upgraded and this time around the champions and power users were involved in writing the test. Hello everyone,   I want to know whether there's a way to prevent a lead getting created 2 times inside Marketo when a lead go in and submit a form twice in a row. I contacted support and they said that a lead like this get created inside Marketo twice because the data sync get delayed. So when a lead submit a form it doesn't get added to marketo right away and there's a delay because of this delay when the same lead go ahead and submit a different form right after the first one, this causes this specific lead to have 2 record in Marketo because the 1st time submission takes times to sync up.    Is there's a way to prevent this from happening do we won't have duplicate records inside Marketo?   Thank You!

We're attempting to track whenever a lead logs into our SaaS product. We thought we had the configuration accurate, but keep receiving "skipped" as a response. The Custom Activity has been approved. It’s time to make your life just a little bit easier. Keep reading and I’ll show you a way to help break up the activity log and call out your processes. The only limits here are YOUR creativity when creating your call outs, and your judgement on how often to apply this (hint, be judicious).   First, take a few minutes to pick out some of your most complex processes and/or those that you routinely need to search for when troubleshooting or doing evaluations for your users.   Once you’ve identified these processes: Take a few minutes to create a helper string field(s) that you can use for each of them I like to use something like "Admin-Processing-Note". Can anyone point me to an article about how best to make use of the "Directory of Leads Bouncing Emails" described here?   https://nation.marketo.com/t5/knowledgebase/maintaining-a-directory-of-leads-bouncing-emails/ta-p/300838   When I was working for another company a few years ago we got some useful advice from a deliverability consultant about this but did I remember or capture relevant screenshot? Doh! So have this handy directory now (again) but I'm not entirely sure how best to make use of it, which boils down to under what circumstances should we marketing suspend or block list which bouncing emails. Hi there, I've been using Marketo for just under a year and started to explore updating our basic lead scoring model.   I'm struggling with adding a time-based restriction to flag leads that reach the score we set for an MQL - in this case, 20.    What logic/settings do I use to only flag someone who has   1. Reached a score of 20  AND 2. Has scored more than 8 points in the past 7 days   Is that doable? Thanks in advance!  

Hi all,   inspired by this thread necromancy I wanted to ask about RCE, because it's a Marketo feature I'm not really familiar with. I think I understand that I need to build a model (this modeler comes with every Marketo subscription?) that I can then analyze with a reporting tool (that is not in every Marketo instance?). If I have a model, I need to build transitions, and then Marketo persons are automatically associated with the model's buckets.   Okay. Is it worth doing that? Will the Analyzer give me information I didn't have before? Will a running model have a negative impact on my instance's performance? Why can I only have one model approved at the same time?   If you could tell me either "Nah, don't waste your time on that" or "Yes, you definitely have to dive into this" - that would be great!   Thanks,Michael

Is it possible to to use the Request Campaign Flow Action and Request Campaign Trigger across Workspaces? Example - Create the smart campaign with the flow action in one workspace and the trigger campaign in another workspace?

I have heard people mention using tokens to translate emails instead of using the "dynamic" email functionality. How do you utilize tokens to do this? I have not found any documentation / guides on this subject. 

Hi, I am trying to create a smart list to pull out the contacts who are a member of my programs. However, I am confused with the filters applied in my smart list. I have a list of programs from which the contacts need to be pulled. Upon adding the "Member of program" filter in a smart list, I was unable to give the program name 'Contains' condition. Thus, I have used "Program Member Data Was Changed" OR "Program Status Was Changed". Wanted to check if this filter can provide us the contacts of all such programs whose names contains the provided text or is there any other filter to do this. Thanks!
