Adobe Marketo Engage

Hey team, I was doing an analysis for my company and we wanted to understand the ramifications of, for example, someone filling a form. In our cases, someone filling a form triggers a smart campaign and therefore the person is added into a static list or an email is sent.   I was able to get the form details, the form used by, the smart campaigns associated to it but I'm missing some endpoint that captures the actions that the smart campaign is actually doing.    I got the flow ID from the campaign rest api but I'm unable to find some endpoint that provides me that.   Could you please confirm if there is an endpoint for that?   Thanks a lot.

I learn a lot from previous discussion but still want to get something more clear.  Please allow me to ask some questions although some might be asked before.    At first, I would like to know if I want to test if my token is populated successfully or not.    I understand the confirmation email must sent directly under the event program.  Thus, I set up followed by Marketo guide like below.  I am wondering to know if must  go to the event page to register, then open the confirmation email sent by Marketo ? OR I can just go to the asset of this confirmation email to send a test email to myself if I had already changed my status to be registered.    Secondly, what if I found the token is not populated, how to find whether there is any error with the registration. I see some people say they can use smart list to filter the people's registration status with error but I could not find it in my filter. Can someone tell how to get this, thank

Hi there, I have two databases that contain some overlapping records. This means that there are three different types of records: Leads who exist only in Marketo Customers who exist in both Marketo and CRM Customers who exist only in CRM Unfortunately, I don't have an easy way to determine which group each person falls into.   I would like to update a field in Marketo for the customers who exist in both Marketo and CRM, based on a corresponding field in their CRM record that indicates their contact preferences (for example, "No surveys"). This way, when I send out surveys to my Marketo audience, I can ensure that I am honoring their preferences as recorded in the CRM.   To achieve this, I'm attempting to upload a static list of all CRM customers with specific contact preferences into Marketo so that I can update their Marketo profile. I have a request from a third-party vendor to do a HTTP Post to Marketo. I've read through some of the past discussions, but I'm not clear on exactly what I need to provide to this vendor. I've put together a landing page/form for this project, but I'm not sure what we need to pull off of that for the vendor.Thanks

1. Deactivate old trigger campaigns. Marketo has a default function that deactivates trigger campaigns that have been idle for six months. This helps, but even a single hit to the trigger will mean six more months of waiting, and the triggers can creep up over time. In addition, you may have archived a program with trigger campaigns in it, but if you didn't deactivate them, the triggers are still live.   Trigger campaign build-up can be a problem because every active trigger consumes resources, and if you get too many of them, your Marketo instance could become bogged down and slower to respond. I recommend developing the habit of deactivating trigger campaigns just like you would make a habit of turning off a light when you leave the room and for essentially the same reason. HI All,   We are trying to pass the field values to utm parameters using tokens and use those values to auto-populate the field values on a form that lives on non-landing page. Concern is when we use token it shows the actual value in URL which is visible to on user end.   How can we hide the values on user end but still be able to capture the field information to prefill the form.   For instance :firstname={{lead.First Name}}&lastname={{lead.Last Name}}&email={{Lead.Email Address}}   Regards Ani

I am currently editing the hardcoded HTML of our landing pages to change the http to https. Is there a way for me to edit the HTML of landing pages faster? My process right now is: Choose landing page Edit Draft Check each Element seperatly with HTML viewer replace HTML Is it possible to edit the HTML of the entire page instead of having to check each element one after another?

Hi There,  We noticed that our branded domain security certificate expired. So we had a question on what the best practice to fix this would be.    Questions:  If our existing branded domain security certificate has expired is it easiest to have your IT department renew this certificate. In our case the branded domain is info.us.ovhcloud.com, but we have a SPF and DKIM with us.ovhcloud.com my IT guy seems to think that maybe the certificate expired on the adobe side, but I am not certain and need clarity.  Is there a reason we'd want to keep our domain as info.us.ovhcloud.com?  If we change this, do we need marketo or someone to set up redirects?  Thanks in advance for any advice. 

Has anyone had experience migrating one marketo instance to another with Bizible? What happens with the old touchpoints? Can you keep the old touchpoints?  What if you have some marketo program activities in Marketo that creates touchpoints?

Hi everyone, I'm running into a bit of an issue with a Smart List I created for an upcoming email campaign.   We are sending a marketing email to our existing leads/contacts. In this email, there is a link to a Marketo landing page, which has a few "Download Now" links, which point directly to a PDF file stored in our Design Studio. The thought process is that since we already have these contacts in our database, we don't need to gate the content with a form—just link the buttons on the page directly to the PDF file.   So my Smart List trigger is incredibly simple, if the user clicks on a link containing "/230320_converging_technologies" ON that specific page, they should be added to the campaign and a "Thank You" email should be sent.   However, so far this flow/trigger has only succeeded for myself and one other co-worker. I have tested against nearly a dozen other internal email addresses, AND 3 external domain email addresses, none of which have worked.   I'm no

Hello,My team and I are implementing 2 new lead scores. One for behavioral activity and one for the lead's firmographics data based on a specific form submission.   We're currently running into the issue of an inaccurate firmographic lead score after a lead submits more than one form submission.   Ideally, we would like the firmographic score to reset and start fresh on any new form submission. What would be the best way of handling this type of process?

Hi!  I'm very new to Marketo and I'm trying to understand the sync between Marketo/Salesforce. My question is that if I have a program in Marketo with members based on a smartlist that feeds from contacts in Salesforce matching a certain criteria. I know that Marketo will create a campaign in salesforce relevant to that program (not sure if its always automatic or needs to be manual) and add campaign members mirroring the smartlist members in Marketo. What happens when a contact changes some of their attributes and are no longer matching the smartlist criteria, will Marketo delete that contact record from the campaign members of that specific campaign?   excuse my ignorance here, any help is appreciated! I uploaded a list that had company name and job title values switched (example: Job Title: Google, Company: Marketing Automation Manager). Is there anyway to run a retrofix in bulk for this?

Is there any way to force Revenue Cycle Explorer to display all values in a field, even when all cells contain 0's? For example, in this report showing new leads collected in a week, one person (from North America) came in as "Forward to Friend" and one came from "Online Advertising."   Next week, however, if no one comes from "Forward to Friend," RCE will not show that line in the report at all, so "Online Advertising" will be the second line in that report instead of the third. These shifting lines complicate work our analytics team does with these reports.   Does anyone have a workaround to force all values to appear in the report every time, regardless of the cell contents? 

Hello,   We've noticed this past week that a number of our pre-built emails have lost the spacing between the text in a specific module which is a simple RTE.   I've combed through our email template looking at the CSS and html code and the module itself, but cannot identify a potential cause.   Specifically, when I open the module to edit the copy, the spacing appears fine. But then when I close the module and simply view the email either in edit or preview mode, the spacing goes away. Hi All, My query is can we create a webhook which would dynamically import the data (let say a lead's email address) from Marketo database and post it into my Marketo custom object field (let say custom email address) when he/she fills out a form?

Within the Admin, Marketo has Global Form Validation Rules you can turn on for all forms, and a great out of the box one for Consumer Email Block List, which will block free emails like gmail and yahoo from being submitted.     It sets the rule globally, however, the error message only displays in English and doesn't auto-translate even on forms where the language has been set to a different language such as German.   The errors inherent to the form will translate to German, but not the error that you enter into the Global Form Validation Rule.   Is this just a bug in Marketo?  Or is there a way to get that error message to translate depending on the language set on the forms?Original Support ticket that is unresolved: The Global Validation Rule for Consumer Domain Email Blocklist has been activated.
