Hello,    I am using default programs within an engagement program that consists of three streams. I have 3-5 default programs within each stream.    Do the default program statuses have any impact on one another?   If a lead is given a "Clicked" status within one default program, will they not be eligible to be given a lesser status (e.g. "Send") in any other default program in that Engagement Program regardless of stream OR does that only apply when you are using email assets? 

Hello,    I was charged with creating a similar form to this: Where it is presenting two options 1. either sign up for something or continue to the website.   I found the documentation example (https://developers.marketo.com/rest-api/assets/forms/examples/) for form submit on non-form click event and figured that was likely where I needed to be, but am facing a couple of challenges   1. How do I make the other fields visibility dependent on selecting the "sign up" option? 2. is this java script code living in a rich text field on the form or on the page where the form exists? 3. how do I assign the element ID? is that in the CSS editing section of the form editor?       Thanks

Hi team!   Just wanted to confirm. If I see the API Call Information window in Marketo and check the request from the last 7 days. Those users would be the only active API users that are currently interacting with my Marketo instance, right?   I ask this because I saw a lot of API users created before me, but nobody knows if they are active or not, but I don't want to delete them to later find out that a partner or an external web service was using them.   Thanks!

Hello,    We sent an email out the other day. imported a list pulled from ZoomInfo. Add personalization (name in SL and company body).  Checking stats, 91% delivery rate (700) and 0.9% open rate (6), and a 0.9%(6) unsubscribed rate.  This seems off as we generally see a 20-30% open rate.  Is anyone facing the issue? Do you have any suggestions on what to do?

Hi all,Looking for some advice. I'm delving deeper into Velocity as I continue my development learning, and I have a question about sorting. I've spent quite a bit of time on this trying to figure it out myself as I find it the best way to learn, but I'm not having too much luck. Apologies if the answer is obvious.I've written a script to populate part of an email based on the funds that a user is subscribed to. I've included an example of what this looks like below, while substituting the data for mock data. Basically the script uses #foreach to loop through a list of funds that the user is subscribed to receive information about (the info is stored on our own in-house CMS and pulled from there - $lead.fundcode). It outputs HTML which contains links to a fund page and factsheets. There can be as little as 1 fund output, or as many as 22 for select users. It depends on how many they're subscribed to. $countrylink dictates which instance of our website the user is directed to.Due to iss

Is there a way to pull a list of all the unsubscribers from Marketo instance?

Hi! This has been bugging me for a few weeks now -- I'm editing Marketo emails in Chrome and some of the images stopped being displayed out of nowhere. It doesn't affect all images, but always affects the footer social media icons and a few others. Example of how it looks in Marketo editor is on the screenshot below; in Gmail open in the same browser, the images are just missing. The problem doesn't seem to exist in other browsers or under other OSs. I'm running the latest version of Chrome on Windows 11.  Did anybody have the same issue? What could be the reason?   

Hi All,   I am creating a Preference center in Marketo and have 2 scenario's to deal with  Scenario 1: If a person (who is not in Marketo database) lands on my preference center page via a "Forward to a friend link" , A “not you?” button can take the person to a clean, uncookied form to fill out from scratch - It should be fine and doable.   Scenario 2: What if the preference center page cannot determine who the person is when he/she lands on the preference center page, do we have any option to redirect him/her automatically onto our form fill out page which asks for first name, last name and email address of the person ? 

Hey everyone, I am looking to do the following. I want to have the following fields exist on opportunities in salesforce1. First Touch2. Pre-Op Last Touch Marketing3. Pre-Close Won Last Touch MarketingHowever, I am now seeing in the documentation that Marketo can not update opportunity fields in salesforce.All of this data would in theory be coming from the main contact role on the opportunity. So is the best solutions, to have all of this information live on the person level in Marketo, and see if I can make an automation in salesforce to grab it from the primary contact role on the opportunity and place it onto the opportunity in salesforce? Thanks! 

Hi there. There are a number of facebook lead ads running on a variety of pages for one of my clients.  The base config is correct in so far as I can see the pages, and I can see leads flowing in to the Marketo instance from the forms.   However, my issue is that a number of the custom fields in the Facebook lead ad forms aren't showing up in Marketo for mapping.  Has anyone come across this issue before and worked out how to resolve?   The field highlighted in RED below being the one of key interest right now. Hi!   I have a page with content locked behind a login, and I need to cover a scenario where a user has signed up to access this page, but is not currently cookied as a known user. They'll be putting their email address into a form, which I'd like to compare against all leads in the database. If their email address is found in the database, I'd like to see if they are included in a specific list (which would have a yes or no value). If they are included in that list, they get access to the page content.   Here's the code I have currently - as you'll see, I'm having some trouble figuring out how to connect to the leads database.    I need to... 1. Grab their inputted value of the email field in the form 2. Look for that email address in the leads database 3. If they're found in the database, I need to grab all of their lead info based on their email address 4. I need to check the value of a specific piece of that lead info   You'll see some stuff about auth code

Hi   I am looking for any alternates to Custom Fields in Marketo. The reason being, I do not want to add custom fields for every Department's Marketo Forms.  We are running Marketo instance in the University and some of the Departments are running Marketo Forms/Google Forms to capture data from Students and want to leverage that data in Marketo for sending notifications/communications/newsletter. These are not standard data and specific to the Department.  Creating a Custom field for each of these departments does not seem to be a good solution, as there are 20-40 dept's each requiring 10 fields and it will be too many on the lead data, which may be of limited use.   What is the best way to store this kind of form data on the lead record?  Custom objects or Program Member data or something else? Best practices followed by people will be very helpful for us to move forward.   thanks -Sree SJSU

I apologize if this is similar to previous questions - but running into an occasional problem: I have a script setup to basically send a "Welcome" email if someone becomes a Member - this looks at their Membership Date, Member Status, etc.   One thing that happens occasionally is that it's possible for multiple Members to be approved on the same day with the same Email Address (a major flaw with our system data-wise).This means that if I've got multiple records in the Lead with the same:01) Membership Opening Date02) Membership Statusthen my "#foreach" loop will obviously pull in each record that meets those criteria. That means using a "Updated Customer Profile Object" will send multiple emails to the same address with the multiple records data.Is there any efficient way to basically say "if multiple records meet the criteria, only print ONE RECORD per email when triggered"? Or am I better off trying to have our data team delay the records updating and do something with the "Upda

Hi all,   I just wanted to see if there was any updated information in relation to the preview and open email discussion from 2013.    Does Marketo still not track previews of emails as opens? So someone has to download the images of an email to count as an open metrics?    Thanks,

Hi All, Recently we are setting up event registration and using the smart campaign for triggering event registration. Here we are using a Trigger "Program Status is Changed" and a filter "Filled out Form", please see the screenshot below: We don't want the people who filled out form A listed in the "Filled out Form" filter to be triggered in this smart campaign but actually, the people who fill out form A still have been triggered, not sure why? Has any one had some ideas? Or should we not use "is not" but using "Not filled out form" this filter?

Hello,   We use a platform we host our website to build and host all the asset download landing pages instead of using MKTO registration landing pages. The MKTO forms are embedded on the registrations pages. However, the challenge is for each asset, I'll have to create 1 individual MKTO form.    We also have different Thank You page for each asset and I want to be able to track UTM values. Is there a way to use only 1 form for all the different asset and route them in MKTO to different programs?   Thank you!
