Impact of Google's Introduction of Secure Search on Original Search Phrase

Google have introduced Secure Search, meaning that web analytics tools will no longer display the search keywords from web visits originating from organic searches (will now appear as "not provided"), and only paid search visits will now provide keyword data.

I am assuming that this will mean that the "Original Search Phrase" in Marketo will be impacted in the same way.

Can anyone at Marketo shed light on the impact further?

You're absolutely right Carrie, we're seeing the Original Search Phrase field be populated less frequently.

Most folks I talk to are just shifting to information they do have, like Breno's suggestion.

Unless I am missing the context we can comfortably pull the referrer URL which contains the search keywords.

The referrer URL is just like clicking the browser's back button. Neither Google nor anyone else can prevent that (for now in Chrome...)
